With a short off season I don't see much change from last season. I think we will have 2 new Starting safeties, a guard, and a DE. I don't see any undrafted free agents making the 53 because their isn't much time to get them up to speed.

The guard position is pretty weak,so I went went Colledge because I think he would probably be the best available. I see Joseph, Mankins, Dahl and Nicks all returning to their prospective teams. We probably will have to address during the draft next season. The rest of the offense is probably going to be the same expect the addition of Murray and the subtraction of Barber.

I went with Huff and Elam as the safeties because they already Know Ryan's Defensive and it Sounds Like Sensabaugh isn't returning.

Cornerback has a strong class but can be costly. This is my biggest question mark. Aso, Joseph, and Cromartie will probably command what Newman is making and with Aso more. Do we sign an Inferior talent like Ike Taylor or Brent Grimes? I think Newman stays and will have to address during the draft.

I think we will let go both Spears and Hatcher and spend to bring Cullen Jenkins in. I could also see Dallas bringing in Ian Williams to play nose (with Brent starting) and moving Ratliff over to DE. Either way Olshansky has to stay.

Everything was win until your last sentence. Bowen is in line for a healthy pay day and starter money. No need for igor if you have Jenkins and Bowen

I guess you are right. Now we have to spend on getting two cheap reserves.

I'm with you on picking up Colledge. I figured he could be a good pickup even back during the season, when it was reported that he most likely wouldn't be resigned in GB. And I think he fits what Garrett wants.

As for Jenkins, I'm 50/50 on that, just because of age, injuries, and the fact that he played significantly better in a contract year. I'll be glad if we sign him, won't lose any sleep if we don't.

I could see picking up Elam and Huff, just because we really need upgrades at S, and those guys both know Ryan's system, which could be critical with a limited off/preseason.

Your roster leaves off Ball and McCray. I could see it coming down to one of those vs. Geathers. I think that will depend with how they look on ST's. And also, I have a hard time seeing Holley get that 5th WR position, unless he really shines in TC. He's good on ST's, but I just think you need a better receiver at that spot.

Do you though? Neither hurd nor holley are real wr prospects. And hurd makes $1.3m too, no? If holley shows he can play ST's then it's worth getting what hurd can give you for $1m less

Colledge wouldn't be a total shock as I seem to recall they had their eyes on him during the draft but Green Bay snapped him up.

That said, it would be curious as to who shifted from LG to RG. Personally I think that Kosier has the smarts and versatility to do it if need be. However it went, I would prefer to have a smart, stabilizing force next to the rokkie Tyron Smith.

Overall, I could certainly 'live' with an offseason like this one.

I don't see Dallas keeping 5 Safeties so thats why I left McCray out. I went with Church over McCray because I actually saw Church contribute something on defense with Mccray I hadn't. I left off Ball because McCann was a better Special teamer. Same reason I left off Ogletree and chose Holley instead. If we have to rely on our 5th receiver to catch the ball consider our season over. I rather have the strong special teamer.

did you really keep Jesse Holley?

Over Ogletree and Hurd yes. Obviously that can change based on if Dallas signs another free agent or not. I see them keeping five Wr's and Holley is probably the best special teamer of the bunch. With Roy Williams probably being demoted to the 3rd receiver I'm sure they would want a special teamer at that 5th spot. Hurd's whats a bigger role I don't see that happening here. I'm not in love with Holley, but as of right now he's the guy.

I hear you...but you need a special teamer with the potential of being someone that could grow into a 3rd one day...especially with Roy not being on the team next year.
