Belichek looks at an opponents game film. He notices a tendency of teams that is borderline.

In this case, a wide stance that has caused D linemen to inadvertently trip.

Belichek takes advantage of the fact that refs have a hard job and can’t always be perfect.

He tips off the refs about this tendency and that they should look for it. They think, hey this is going to make me look good.

Now here is the borderline ethical lapse. He actually coaches his players to purposely flop at a strategic time.

I’m not sure if it’s cheating per se. it certainly crosses the line of ethics. Because it takes advantage of something no one else would exploit. The difficult job refs do.

I am certain he does this.

So you are saying Belicheat is so smart he caused opponents to make tripping penalties. Give me a break. He paid the freaking refs to call them.
How the hell did you get that from the post?

I said he took advantage of infallible refs. He’s playing 3D chess.

I 100% believe he saw something on film and alerted the officials to be on the lookout for our linemen tripping opponents. Good coaching move, if so.

Certainly sounds like a Belicheat! He and Brady are hard enough to beat, but they to often go beyond stretching the rules! Their great, but I can’t stand either one!

Somebody clearly said something to have made it such a ridiculous point of emphasis, whether or not it was even there.

Agree with you 100%!

Isn’t that what the pack did in the playoff game on the bogus illegal substitution call.

These are the refs that tell the defense to get their hands of the cheatin qb.

The comment about seeing the wide stance and causing the DL to be tripped.
Yeah. And?

I said he saw it in previous film and picked it to highlight. I’m sure my point is very consistent and not what you took away.

Yup. Probably easy to find little things Garret coached teams do wrong.

I said the same in another thread. I gaurantee that is what happened. No other way to explain how 50% of the NFL's tripping calls were made in today's game.

Its good coaching and a smart tactic.........something foreign to cowboy fans.

I agree.

But what I believe crosses the line is then coaching guys to take a flop on key 3rd down plays.
