I'm bored. List your own beliefs if you with.
1) Tony Romo is the Dallas Cowboy I am least worried about. It never ceases to amaze me how his work ethic, passion, competitive juices, and focus will come into question on this board and in the media. Yes, he needs to protect the ball better, and yes, he sometimes tries too hard to force a big play when there's nothing there. But when the game's on the line, there is no QB I'd rather have behind center than #9. His mix of mobility, accuracy, and guts gives him an arsenal that very few QBs possess.
2) Terrell Owens' pros outweigh his cons. He's not washed up. He's not overrated. He is what he is. A loudmouth who just so happens to be one of the most dominant WRs to ever step onto a football field. And our offense will fall off big-time without him around. Is that worth less "distractions"? Not in my book. Bottom line: I like our Super Bowl chances WITH T.O. better than I like them WITHOUT T.O. Keep him, Jerry. (I know most of you forgot about T.O... seems this board hasn't even mentioned his name since the season ended)
3) Zach Thomas was a disappointment, and not just on the football field. When we brought him in, it was his leadership qualities that were talked about as much as anything else. We didn't sign him to be a sheep, and defer the "leadership" roles to others... but lo and behold, that's exactly what he did. That's what rookies are for, Zach. YOU were supposed to lead the way, and not just by example. Yes, you were a 1st year Cowboy, but T.O. was a fiery leader in his first year here. There's very little doubt that Ray Lewis would be the same way if we were to sign him. I know Zach's not a "rah-rah" guy like T.O. and Ray, but it was disheartening to hear him talk about "there's enough leaders on this team" and "I'm just fitting in to be one of the guys". Again: that's what rookies are for, Zach.
I'm tired of typing, I'll add more later... add your own beliefs/rebuttals.
