Swing Tackle-with Collins gone and our swing tackle promoted, we need to replace that role.

G/C-team always covers themselves with a bridge type player.

DT-we don't have a 1T on the active roster outside of Bohanna. Both Watkins/Urban are fa's. I would expect a resigning or a similar low level player brought in.

*Edge-it appears they aren't in the market, but we could see a similar signing like Griffen a few years ago. Any pass rusher that stays on the market, they would get involved, of coarse at a discount price. Remember, you have that 10 million coming post june 1st.

Place Kicker-we they bring in competition for the kicker we signed after the season?

There is a thread saying Watkins is being signed. I still would be ok with Urban, however draft a DT also, then compete in TC.
Ball could compete with Hyatt, if they being him back or another FA for swing Tackle. Or a drafted player to develop to take over for Smith, unless Ball looks to be the one.

I think they draft an edge player to compete in TC with the others currently on the roster.

Will draft OL in the 1st 3 picks along with a LB, since it seems Wagner won't be signed. Which I am ok with that. Wagner could be good, or he could be a progress stopper. I am ok either way.
I think they pick 3 OL in the draft, if BPA at the time.

Definitely need a K. FA or draft, not sure who is out there.

I think the Cowboys like Ball more then the local media does but they still need a swing tackle. The Cowboys probably plan to use all those draft picks like last season. Expect them to draft a place kicker with one of those 5th round picks.

Don't worry, we'll get our normal quantity of mediocre vet minimum guys in here soon enough. Then, go through another draft where we find 1 or 2 gems that may stick and get gas lit again thinking we're going to the Super Bowl. Then D4K will get blamed and start over after the next Super Bowl. Repeat.

Ball is a total unknown, they aren't going to rely on an untested prospect to fill that important need, especially with Tyron's lack of durability.

I think we are going OL first and LB in the 2nd round.

Personally, we need to grab Clowney or Barnett on a 1 year deal. Both are good against the run. Barnett would be considerably cheaper.

Guess you saw we resigned Watkins?
The rest is spot on.

Agree with everything except I would love Wagner.
We are very thin at linebacker

agree with all. I think OL Zion kid will be the pick in rd1

Take away Tyron and what do you have at OT? I know LG n C gets a lot of chatter, but OT is ahead of C and neck and neck with LG imo. Hopefully the extra cap money can go to a better swing OT this year.

I think we'll pick up another linebacker since we only have four. It will be some special-teammer who has shown that he can spot start.

Swing tackle is possible unless they are high on Ball.

G/C is possible unless they feel McGovern can start and Farniok can cover the swing.

1-tech has been covered now by Bohanna's signing.

Edge could be done, but a vet like JPP won't surprise me if the price is right.

PK depends on how much they like the player they signed. If they think he's it, then it wouldn't surprise me for them to just get a camp leg.

The other linebacker spot come to earmarked for a draftee.

Usually, we like to have a fifth guy who has a few skins on the wall and don't like to telegraph what we're drafting ... although we did it last year at corner. I'd expect us to get a vet for the fifth spot and throw a rookie at the sixth spot. If it comes down to just keeping five it would be the cheap vet vs. the late-round rookie.

We need an OL and a LB in free agency IMO. They don't have to be high end starters (although at least one should be) but we can't go into the draft like this
