Here's some remaining players I like. Of course I realize this doesn't mean the Cowboys like them.
I am only including O-Line, Defensive Backs, and D-Line. We have darfted 5 linebackers in the last 2 drafts, and we are deep at WR, TE, and RB. I also don't see us going after a QB with McGee getting picked last year. The only Fullback I'm high on his John Conner from Kentucky.
Defensive Backs
Akwasi Owusu-Ansah CB/S Indiana (PA) - Probably my favorite player still available
Syd'Quan Thompson CB Cal - Aggressive tackler, would make an ideal 3rd CB slash Special Teamer.
Donovan Warren CB Michigan
Alterraun Verner CB UCLA - Very solid
Reshad Jones S Georgia - Not high on him but good value on Saturday.
Perrish Cox CB Oklahoma State
Myron Rolle S Florida State - Just have to root for a kid like him.
Dominique Franks CB Oklahoma- Should have stayed in school
Robert Johnson S Utah
AJ Jefferson CB Fresno State - Off the charts athletically
Offensive Line
Bruce Campbell T Maryland - Potential guy but 4th round minimizes the risk.
Ciron Black G/T LSU - Once considered a Top 10 pick. Oops.
Jason Fox T Miami - Injury concerns.
Marshall Newhouse G/T TCU
Selvish Capers T West Virginia
Mitch Petrus G Arkansas - Strong and did I mention he's from Arkansas?
Brandon Carter G Texas Tech - Crazy in a good way.
Erik Cook C/G New Mexico
Sam Young T Notre Dame - Reminds me of Marc Colombo.
Tony Washington T Abiline Christian - Sister jokes aside he could develop into a beast.
J'Marcus Webb T West Texas A&M
Jeff Byers C/G USC - Injury history but versatile.
Defensive Line
Everson Griffen DE USC - Could actually provide pass rush as a 3-4 DE, something we have lacked.
Clifton Geathers DE South Carolina - Huge but so is his rap sheet.
Cam Thomas NT North Carolina- Big, run-stuffing Nose Tackle.
Jeffrey Fitzgerald DE Kansas State - Another rare player who can rush the passer as a 3-4 DE.
Corey Wooten DE Northwestern - His injuries scare me but good size.
Arthur Jones DE Syracuse
Vince Oghobaase DE Duke
