That's why he's an enigma. He's done some good things, but I feel like I've read more about his injuries the past two years than his play.

Last year he played primarily as a backup, but I think he'll get a lot more PT, so we'll be able to truly see what he can do.

He didn't meet the Parcells eyeball test and 250-lb requirement, so he never had much of a chance.

But Burnett is bigger than both Donnie Edwards and Steven Cooper, so I think he'll get a good look now.

I don't know anything about Martinez. What sort of leg does he have for the KO? I would have to assume he had to be fairly accurate as I seem to recall he came from the AFL?

Will Carpenter do it outside, inside, or will Wade bring him from multiple spots?

I personally believe it will be outside. Though I would not at all be surprised to see him take a spot in the Nickel. IMO he has great football instincts.

I would really like to see Hoyte develop into a complete FB. Watching him blow up LBers last year was fun.

I also think that Spears weill improve. With him seeing more time on passing downs and a one gap system, i think he takes that step.

Of course there is Leonard Davis who will finally shrug off the Arizona curse and make his first probowl.
