What they really should have done, though, is given him just one shoe if they were committed to the joke.

Great cause...lost a friend to that many years ago. He was our high school catcher and had been drafted by the Dodgers in the 7th round. They didn't detect it in time. He was only 20.

What?? My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer almost a year ago!! Thank god she is now cancer free!! But to see what she has gone through these last several months is just terrible...
all the treatments take a toll on a person!! She still has about 8 months before she will be as normal as she can be!! I would never wish any form of cancer on anyone... no matter what!!

It is not only about the mortality rate which is minimal for this type of cancer, but it is the fight that you have on you hands. The chemo, the blood tests, the CT scans, the constant Dr. visits its a living hell. Those that have not been through it don't know what it takes to fight this animal. It's draining, its stressful and a life changer. Those fighting it, or have relatives and friends going through this at the moment, my prayers to you and everyone involved. GOD BLESS!!!
