Saw MCR in concert last night, it was a pretty good show. They did every track from the black parade and a lot of stuff from sweet revenge. This is their first big tour and last night was the 4th night. Im going to see them in jersey and might trek down to DC to see them as well.

The band is playing one night in dallas and 1 night in houston on this tour (i beleive the houston show is april 14th). Anyway, for those who are fans i recommend going to see this show when the band comes to your city.

Where are they playing in DC?
I just looked online and cant find any info. Im pretty sure that DC was lsited as one of the tour stops on the shirt i bought last night because i was looking for other shows close to me that i could go see, but now i cant find anything.

The meadowlands is may 5, which will probably be one of the best shows since the band is from jersey, its a sat night. Im definitely going to that one.

Did you see them at Liacouras? I've been there before.

On their site, they don't come to DC until April 27. Merriweather Post Pavilion. Ugh.

It's open weather, in a horrible location, and I've never been to a show there that I really enjoyed. People sitting on the grass isn't really what concerts are about, to me -lol. I much prefer smaller, indoor venues where you can't move, breathe, or adjust your underwear, until people open up a pit near you. ;)

Merriweather would be a fine enough place to take a lady, though. Can have a picnic, and scones.

A picnic and scones, LOL.

Well, if its GA then you just buy a floor ticket and push your way to the stage or get there real early.

It looks like the show at the meadowlands is all GA and 80 a ticket (last night show the tickets were les than 40). But i'll go to the meadowlands and get there early enough to be right at the stage for the entire show. I wonder how the band will do there, i mean its a big stadium and there following isnt that large yet, perhaps because its jersey they'll be able to fill the seats. Liacouras is not that big and it didnt sell out.

I can't believe they didn't sell out Liacouras. They're an east coast band, I think.

I think the lyrics are pretty lame, but just musically, they're on another level than so many bands. Probably a pretty good show. The wife likes them, and we can have scones, so I might hit Merriweather, and brave that horrendous route 29.

There's a couple songs from the black parade that i was actually suprised by the lyrics, maybe they will cont to improve. I thought "sleep" and "the sharpest lives" had some pretty good lyrics, also "the ghost of you" is pretty good.

But yeah, some of their stuff from before the black parade, the lyrics dont do much for me. Though i think the best part of the show was the stuff from sweet revenge because they looked like they were putting on a performance during the black parade as if it was expected of them to perform the entire album.

But when they went off stage and came back for the second half they looked like they were having a lot more fun and playing what they wanted to and seemed to be more in their element (going nuts on stage, interacting with the fans) they didnt hold anything back then. But to be honest, it is a good show, dont think you'll regret going.

Has anyone been able to find a list of their upcoming tour dates/cities?(including Mexico?)
