My wonderful girlfriend.

She doesn't care for American football. She has always just tolerated my Cowboys fanaticism. Let's face it us diehards are not easy to live with all season!

I watch alone while she does other things. It's always that way.

Today I watched alone at a friend's house - he was out of town and invited me to watch there in privacy on his giant TV.

There is a knock on the door near the end of the game. Literally right after the Dez overturn.

It was my girl. Big smile on her face and wearing a brand new Cowboys winter cap. Had one in her hand for me too.

When she left our house to come over to see me, we were winning, so she came to surprise me and celebrate a win with me. To show her unconditional support and share in my joy.

She sat there the rest of the game with me, cheering and hoping until the final knee was taken and defeat was assured.

She took pictures of us in our Cowboys caps and reminded me how much fun I've had this year.

Heck next year she may even watch the games with me...

Cool story. M et a lady from Chicago who mildly followed football, that was 17 years ago. Today, shes more heartbroken than I am over the Cowboys loss. She feels bad because they lost and also because now I feel bad. Shes a true blue cowboys fan now.
