My Cowboys color schemed theater

Awesome job on it, are you for hire?

:D

I'm not, but my gf's cousin is. He did most of the construction part. I did the design (aesthetically - an acoustical engineer did the design for seating & speaker placement, and for acoustic treatments), some demo, some electrical, and all of the A/V equipment wiring. And I had to stay on top of things to make sure they were done right.

Well it looks great and I'm very jealous! Hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

:thumbup:

Looks very nice. I'm a little envious (actually a lot ;)). I wish I had a basement because that is the first and only thing I would do in that room.

Where's the hidden doorway to slip through once overcome with zombies?
Well it may be Zombie proof as he could not let any Eagle fans in.
Maybe touch it up with Super Bowl posters and a few large stars.
Do you need any friends?????
But congrats..... :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
It time for ....:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

What was your budget? I've always wanted to do something like this. Unfortunately, due to the layout of my current home, I can't do it, but I would like to know for future reference.

Great job! What was the first thing you watched after finishing the project?

40k. That was for pretty much everything (a few pieces of equipment I already had). Went a little over, so maybe 43k. Depending on what exactly you do, equipment you buy, and how much work you do yourself, it can be a lot more, or a lot less. I was fortunate that my gf's cousin does construction and gave us a great rate.

I can send you a spreadsheet of my budget if you want.

That's not necessary. That's about what I was thinking. Actually, a little under.

Haha, well probably 3 months, but some work was done while waiting. We didn't really get started until November, so the Superbowl probably wasn't realistic. Especially since he had other jobs to work on at the same time.
