My Cowboys stock report after tonight

Add Keegan as stock up....the fact he came in and played some center tonight...didn't look out of place is a big plus in my book. I think he made the cut tonight because of his versatility....didn't know that was part of his game. He looks like a natural center.
Agreed. Keegan looked pretty good at both Right Tackle and Center. Looked better at Center than any other backup Center we currently have. I would definitely keep him.

Rodriguez played all game. Started at Right Guard. Finished 4th quarter at Right Tackle. Absolutely sucks big time. Whiffed on several plays. Struggled most of the night at both positions. Hurt the offense many times all game long. I would rather keep Navajo Shiyazh Pete, even though he made 2 mistakes since he is hardly played, since he mostly played okay and showed potential to improve and grow. Whether this means Pete makes the 53 or is cut but passes waivers and is placed on our Practice Squad would be fine for his rookie year. But Rodriguez has to go.

I didn't feel good about Barham tonight. I had hoped that he'd show that he should be out there on early downs as a run stopper, but he swam a little tonight.
I think it was good night for him in that it was a learning experience. He definitely needed the playing time to get ready for the season.

They had Keegan at center and Leverett at RG for a while. Pretty interesting.

He played as an individual, no support, that’s the preseason

Unfortunately that's because he stinks. People should just let go of the fantasy he'll ever amount to anything.
Milton has shown flashes that he could be Starter in this league, which is why people still hang on to the thought of his potential.

Will he ever amount to anything, prob not. He’s too inconsistent of a QB. At the NFL level, you can’t hope for the “good” Milton to show up. Knowing what to expect every Sunday from your QB is paramount.

0% chance Pete makes the 53

Coaches can scheme around someone consistent......they struggle with someone the opposite at any position, in any sport

They were gashing us in the run game when he was in there. Not saying that's all on him, but he wasn't doing much to stop it. Maybe he should have drew at least one flag, but he didn't get it so I can't count that as a success.
They were gashing the DTs. The LBs were making plays as soon as the RBs got to the 2nd level.

What is he supposed to do to stop this? He made the plays that he should have. I guess I really don't understand what you're trying to say.

Team playing with much more energy than we seen from past teams in the PS.
This hopefully and should carry over into the season.

Seems they believe they have a very good team. And if that translates into early wins. It build confidence upon that going forward.
Yes, because we have a pile of good young talent. That's the energy.

Yes. He’s been RG and Thomas mostly RT
They have flipped Shelton and Thomas from LT to Rt between games.
Part of the reason they may struggled some.
Hard to do as the coaches explained this. RT on game LT the next. But it is part of their plan.

That's what I thought. Corny does not have the feet for OT, so I found it strange that someone was saying he was our best backup OT. Especially when he's not playing OT!!!

Yeah, I mentioned him last week…someone else mentioned Leverette…I think both have looked decent on the interior, along with Bass and Cornelius. Problem is no one at T has stepped up. Guessing only one will make it between Keegan and Leverette…who seems like more of a center only.

Joe Milton looked bad,it looked like he forgot all his touch he worked hard on this training camp.
Are we still getting a 1st round pick for him like everyone was saying we could last week?

People were saying the Dolphins would give us their Top 5 pick for him 5 days ago. Is that still a thing?
