I really really thought we where going to get kicked hard today by Philly

The last 4 weeks did not inspire me to think we would win this game.

The defense finally showed up and played great; we finaly passed early to help out the running game which was better than games past.

Great game boys now do not slump next week by being on cloud 9

Altho I predicted a Boys win here and at the weekly Pick site, it was a heart over mind move. Never thought we'd look this solid in so many phases of the game against the Eagles. Not coming off that performance in Oakland.

What I really hope does NOT happen now is a revisionist approach to this win. A growing "oh, McFraud was banged up", or "the Eagles just came off a series of tough games and emotional wins" , or "TO wasn't himself for some reason" crap.

This wasn't any ground-shifting win, imo, but neither was it a win just like any other.

It mattered, and you could se that on the face of the Eagles players and their coaches. This win wasn't a fluke, a late minute steal, or a close one.

It was domination.

We'll have plenty of time to debate exactly what this win means, and just how impressive it was or was not, but there can't be much doubt now that when we're on our game, we can play with anyone.
