My day yesterday was football and draft heavy..
At 11 AM, my daughter, my son, and I showed up at the LA Coliseum for USC's scrimmage. Saw many futue NFL players up close in Taylor Mays, Everson Griffen, Ronald Johnson, Damian Williams, and others.
My son and I are huge Taylor Mays fans but it was a little difficult watchig him while my 17-year old daughter keeps saying how "hot" he is.
Had to leave around 12:15 because I had previously signed my son up for a Football Camp that was being held at his high school. There I watched my son do various football drills (mainly the same ones we all see at the Combine). At the end of the camp my son was running patterns and catching passes from Jeff Garcia and Bruce Gradkowski.
Last, my son does a a workout every 2 weeks at a place called Velocity. He had to go there right after the camp. There he does drills and workouts that current NFL Draft hopefuls are also doing. Guys like Patrick Turner, Marc Sanchez, Donald Brown, and many others are there getting ready for the draft.
