Round 1- Melvin Ingram OLB/DE S. Carolina- Decastro goes before we pick and I personally think Dre Kirkpatrick is a bit overrated. Ingram is a special player at 6'4 276 with elite athleticism. Rex could move him around at OLB and DE with his size, quick feet, and ability to tackle and stop the run. Special player that would make an immediate impact.

Round 2- Kelechi Osemle OG Iowa State- Huge guy at 6'5 347 and he has been starting at LT for Iowa State. His ability to play LT at a high level in the Big 12 shows his great feet and technique. Wont be able to play LT in the NFL but his combo of huge size and good feet should make his transition to OG easy. Would be an immediate upgrade over Holland/whoever else we've throwing out at OG this year.

Round 3- Casey Hayward CB Vandy- I think I like this kid more than most and would even consider him in the 2nd if he shoots up the boards. Doesnt have great size, but it wont hurt him either at 5'11 188. Isnt afraid to tackle despite the lack of great size as he had 54 tackles with 6.5 going for loss. Ballhawk type who had 5 picks this year with 13 for his career. Should be able to play right away as he has had 3 years of starting experience in the SEC.

Round 4- Austin Davis QB Southern Miss- Yup. McGee is awful and Romo is far from durable. Time to finally draft a Qb. Davis is a scrappy Qb who isnt really elite at anything but is adequate at everything. His work ethic and dedication are what makes him a legit NFL prospect though. Studies hard in the film room and added 20 lbs of muscle before his senior season to help his arm strength and durability. Also has good foot speed that will keep defenses honest.

Round 5- Chris Rainey RB/WR/KR Florida- Doesnt really have a position so he drops this far. He is a pure weapon with his sub 4.4 40 ability though. I think Jason could find a way for this kid to get his hands on the ball and make some big plays. Also is the potential dynamic return man that we lack.

To be brutally honest, I'm not a big fan of this draft.

Now you did state that DeCastro is gone before your Ingram pick. We all know I'm a big fan of Ingram and I could not debate this pick much given the situation but it's the rest f the draft I have a problem with.

If we miss out on DeCastro there is no reason to reach and start a project to make up for it in Round 2 when there is still plenty of NFL Caliber interior lineman available. Cordy Glenn, Brandon Washington and Kelechi Osemele all would be better options and are more suited to come in Day 1 and contribute at OG without a developmental delay of learning a new position. I would even prefer to look to Amini Silatolu in the 3rd who I believe might be the 3rd most NFL ready interior lineman in this draft and will likely go mid round 2.

I really do like Casey Hayward, I can't complain about this pick much if at all.

I don't like Austin Davis at all in the 4th and it's not because he's a QB, I just don't like him as a QB and Chris Rainey in the 5th is a wasted pick. Don't get me wrong, I like that you took a returner and I'm always looking for the next McCluster but not only do I think he's a reach in the 5th I think NFL Potential is very limited.

We will agree to disagree on Davis, I really like him.

Dont really get what youre saying in the 2nd paragraph because I have Osemele and you named him as a guy you would want...I think Glenn is gone or I would have had him in the 2nd. Osemele seems like the 3rd best OG in the draft to me.

And I think Rainey has a spot in the NFL but he was kind of just a throw in pick. Could definitely go without him

yeah sorry about that, got myself rumbling and lost my direction. I was going to go on a rant about playing him at OT and how I would not be opposed to the pick if that was our intentions. Needless to say, I'm not a Free fan and can't wait till Dallas realizes the error in their ways.

Not a huge fan of Free.....at LT. I think he will be better at RT and that should be the move next year. Tyron has the ability to play LT.

I think that's a given and Free will be a better RT but even then I dont trust him.

Rainey would not be a wasted pick. Once he runs a 4.3 at the combine many teams will move him up their draft boards. Great punt and KO returner. Runs very tough for his size.

Yeah, Free should be solid at RT.. I am pretty confident in him being able to get back to good form at that position
