Sign him to a 2 yr deal allowing for Dallas to develop a SDE. Wether that be Gardner or a rookie.

Ray McDonald DT
Sign him to a 3 yr deal that has to option yrs like the Melton deal.

My thinking is Dallas is close to making it to the superbowl. They dont have 5 yrs with Romo, if the Cowboys actually belioeved that they wouldnt be thinking about getting Romo's contract out from under them within 2 yrs.

Cole and McDonald would be the type of guys who could turn things around for the Cowboys quickly along the DL. Not only that they would keep the Cowboys from having to reach for DL. and would allow the Cowboys to build up depth on defense with younger guys.

I think Dallas' 27 pick will be Gurley or Gordon whichever is there. If none i can see Dallas going OL or trying trading down.

Yeah I get that you're being realistic, but I don't see McDonald being the greatest option. He's 30, would be making a scheme change, and comes with a black cloud over his head. I see Paea, Peters, and Lankford as better options that will still be reasonably priced.

Actually mcDonald has been cleared after the witness in the case said it wasnt mcdonald but another player who assaulted her.
