Well, we lost, and I'm living up to my bet. I'll see you guys in a month, but a couple notes before I go:
1: To the Romo haters - Go die in a hole somewhere. The kid was THE reason we made the playoffs and showed poise in his first ever playoff game. He made a mistake that cost us the game, but it shouldnt have come to that. Bradie James, Terry Glenn, and the NFL review system all deserve blame for putting him in that position. Romo was CRYING in the locker room. That is a player who put his heart on the line for the Dallas Cowboys and had it crushed. He has the fire, the heart, and the ability to be a great NFL QB, and he will be. Those who say we need a QB next year, guess what, shove it, we already have one.
2: To the NFL review booth - Fix it. The rule is there must be indisputeable visual evidence to overturn a call on the field. Maybe Witten didnt make it, but the slanted camera angle made it impossible to tell. Oh, and the bogus hold on Newman that gave them a score didnt help either.
3: To Bradie James - Never drop into coverage again. Ever.
4: To Bill Parcells - You play not to lose. That worked in the 1980s when you had a great line and a better defense, but not with this team. I don't care what logic says, a coach with any nads goes for it on 4th and a foot with the game on the line. Make the first, run the clock out and score a TD or kick the FG then, dont give Seattle the chance to win it. I hope you watched the Boise State/OU Fiesta Bowl, BP. THAT is called coaching to win. THAT is what balls of steel look like. Grow a pair or get out.
Well, that's about it. See you guys February 8th.
