I was just referring to the American Bald Eagle, like the one they use for National Anthems and the ones they show on National Geographic. I didn't even know there was two kinds.

our suv hit a pheasant in western south dakota.
good grief, saw someone from peripheral vision, there huge thud in top middle part of windshield.
it crashed to the right in a cloud of feathers.
