My favorite loss as a Cowboys fan

Remember 2 years ago, or was it 1, when we went into Pittsburg in December i believe and lost. We had the lead the whole game and gave it up at the end. The point is I distinctly remember us going into that game and dominating them physically. I mean we were beating them up Tashard Choice was runnin all day. That Steelers team today is the same makeup of players it had back then. The year we just had was terrible, but we are capable of being in these games that are being played today.

I dont remember what the exact play was (college has ruined my memory with all the studying/partying) but it was only a year or two ago. It was a heartbreaking loss but it proved that we can play with all these physical cold weather teams we have pretty much the same roster as we did then too

I remember this game as the Romo and Witten drawing plays in the sand game.


That doomed us from that point on that season to a season that saw us lose the final game at Texas Stadium and get blown out in a winner gets in the playoffs situation.

How is this a good memory lol? We lost the game. No moral victories when you miss the playoffs. By a single game at that.

I was at that game unfortunately. I do understand what the op is saying. In one of the toughest places to play, against a real tough physical team, in freezing temperatures and despite 4 first half turnovers, we controlled the game physically for 50+ minutes....and then completely fell apart.

Yeah we went toe to toe with the bully and actually were the better team for 50 minutes. We dealt with some early adversity, played a physical ballgame in a tough enviroment. Unfortunately the late collapse made the loss oh so painful. Hardly a favorite...

Man, I dont really have a favorite loss. The game vs 49s, down 21 in NFC title game. But that was winnable before we took the field.

A couple of games(losses) THIS year were my favorite. After Garrett took over.

Yeah, to me, that game against the Steelers epitomizes what's wrong with this team. We can't win the big games when they count, when they could give our fans the most bragging rights.

yeah I'd echo that if you going to have a favorite loss might as well make it one that got the team better in the process. I absolutely loved the 40 point blow out that got Wade out of town. I equally enjoyed the NYG game that retired Drew Bledsoe.

That was one of the most physical games we've played that I can remember too.

Someone has to win and it just wasn't us that day.
