It only has taken 4 hours but I'm ready to face the end. I'm ready to say farewell to another season. Again, it ends in heart ache but the whole story is not sad.

Unfortunately I spent a majority of this season being a pompous, negative jack *** for reasons that have discussed in another thread and I dont wish to repeat. For that I was unable to enjoy much of this season. Luckily for me I woke up soon enough to be able to witness one of the greatest 4 game stretches in Cowboys history. 4 games that made a impression and will not be lost on me by a bitter ending.

What I saw was a team that learned to play together, a team that became family, a team that embraced it's coach, a team that grew up and did what all of those outside the organization said they can not do.

I witnessed hope for next year, something that has not come around these parts in some time. We now have a team that has tasted blood and not only seen the grass on the other side of the fence but have taken steps on it. For the first time in a long time I actually believe it when I hear, "there is always next year" because with the SB coming to Big D next year I honestly believe this team is ready to make history.

I want to thank my fellow brothers here for opening my eyes and not allowing me to miss this whole season in a cloud of hate. I also want to thank the Cowboys for giving me a great season and their heart.

Now it's on to the draft, my second favorite time of the year behind opening week. It's time to suck it up, put a little bow on the season and tuck it away.

Bigger and better things are waiting!:star:

Dwelling on the negative accomplishes nothing. I, too, will look forward to Free-agency, the draft, minicamps, training camp and the start of a new season with "super" expectations. I'm a homer, I can't help it! :)

Here here amigo, the season was still a good one in my opinion. We made it farther this year and next year??? we could be the home team at the end if all goes well. Everyone was all love and hugs and kisses yesterday, a loss shouldn't remove those good feelings about the DC staff. Yesterday they were world beaters and today we act like they are bums, well they aer not they just got beat. Well Garrett and his playcalling today was a bum but otherwise..

I'm soooooo much more positive end of this season than after the 44-6 drubbing we took the season before.

I can really see positives with this team going forward.

Young guys like

F Jones
Jenkins
Phillips
Ogletree
Free
Spencer
Austin
Choice
V Butler

And I think like guys like M Bennett will continue to develop, along with B Williams, J Williams, Scandrick, etc.

We've got a good core group.

We just need some OL help and a freaking FG kicker and we'll be an even better team.
