RD1 Shalique Calhoun DE Mich St
Keep building this defense. Have this guy line up on the strong side. Selvie bless his soul had a very good 2013 but i think that was his best. Calhoun is a tackles for loss machine, plays the run good and provides that pressure. Needs to get a little strong but he plays with a good motor. Uses his length to keep blockers off him.

RD2 Sean Mannion QB Oregon State
Big QB with a big arm. Very accurate and love the touch he puts on the ball when he has to loft the ball into the WR. Not very mobile but Dallas has the OL to keep him safe.

Like your first pick. I'm not ready to take a QB that high.
Next year is when I look for a QB with high pick.I hope the draft class is loaded

I have watched enough of Mannion to know I do not want him as the QB for the Cowboys. He definitely has a big arm. Unfortunately he relies on his arm too much and it gets him in trouble which is why he throws a lot of INTs.

Who hurt themselves?
QB Sean Mannion, rSR, Oregon State (6-5 | 220 | 4.94 | #4)
If he would have entered the 2014 NFL Draft, Mannion likely would have been a top-100 pick. But he decided to return for his senior year, and unfortunately has been underwhelming to this point. Mannion really struggled on the road Saturday night in the loss to USC, finishing 15-for-32 (46.9 percent) for 123 yards, two interceptions and zero touchdowns. He played timid for all four quarters and was very unsure of himself, clearly lacking confidence in his reads and decision-making. Mannion relied on screens and check downs most of the game, but when he did test the Trojans defense deep, he often stared down targets and threw into very tight windows. He doesn't have a weak arm, but his throws downfield clearly lacked enough juice and his ball placement was off most of the night. Mannion doesn't have the functional mobility to work around rushers and looked like a deer in headlights much of the game, even when the Trojans rushed only three defenders. He is clearly missing his safety valve from a year ago (Brandin Cooks) and there is no question his draft stock has taken a hit.

Rd 1 needs to be strong side de unless some incredible talent falls and is unexpectedly available

Agreed. Please God no to Mannion. Or any other QB coming out this year. Wait another year to draft a QB like Hackenberg in the first.

I have not even heard Shalique Calhoun DE Mich St name called once

WEAKNESSES: Calhoun isn't as strong as he looks right now and is missing a power element to his game as he's too easily slowed or stonewalled at contact. He loses the leverage battle too often and his ball awareness tends to run hot/cold. His snap anticipation and technique are both underdeveloped.

Calhoun isn't yet a polished product and his hand use needs coached up to improve his shed technique and rush ability
