RD 1 Pick 4 - S Jalen Ramsey Florida State
This was no easy selection with Goff still available as well. However I've watched the draftbreakdown tape on Ramsey as well as finding some full game tapes on youtube and I believe he is the real deal. Many will point to his lack of interceptions and that's fair. However, when you watch the tape, numbers aside, he is very disruptive and is a disturbing force more often than not.
RD 2 Pick 3 - OLB Jaylon Smith Notre Dame
This selection, in contrast, was extremely easy! A talent like Jaylon Smith falls to our second round pick there is no reason to consider any other options. By the time he does recover and get up to speed he should join Lee to form an awesome LB core.
RD 3 Pick 4 - WR Will Fuller Notre Dame
A legit deep threat to line up opposite Dez and take the top off of any defense.
RD 4 Pick 3 - RB Kenneth Dixon Louisiana Tech
I have been high on Dixon for quite some time now and there is no way I pass on him in the 4th round, the value is great here, I considered him in the 3rd. He is very well rounded and should develop into a 3 down back sooner than later. His ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and even line up out wide are of particular interest to me.
RD 4 Pick 38 - DT Javon Hargrave South Carolina State
This draft is deep at the DT position. I almost pulled the trigger on one earlier in the draft but due to higher rated prospects falling I had to pass on the DTs. I may have been able to wait till my next pick to grab him, but at this point I couldn't risk missing out on one of the DTs I singled out heading into the draft.
RD 6 Pick 14 - DE Ronald Blair Appalachian State
Blair doesn't have great speed, but he is a very solid DE and one worth trying to develop.
RD 6 Pick 34 - Cre'von Leblanc Florida Atlantic
Smaller CB than the Cowboys prefer, but very scrappy and plays with an edge. Would also likely compete for a job returning kicks/punts.
RD 6 Pick 38 - WR Mike Thomas Southern Mississippi
This guy has game pouring out of his pores. In the right system I expect him to flourish. He adds more speed and really gets up for jump balls.
RD 6 Pick 39 - G Parker Ehinger Cincinnati
Ehinger plays with good technique as well as a nasty streak, I couldn't ask for more from an Olineman.
