Genevieve Lillian Humphrey has just been born!!! 7lbs. 8oz.

I cannot even begin to describe; amazing and perfect are nowhere near able to describe her!

Daddy's sweet little miracle girl.

Mommy (my girlfriend) was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer) in late February this year. 3 weeks later, mommy finds out she's pregnant.

My girlfriend, me, my stepdaughter, and this sweet miracle Genevieve have beat the odds and dealt with cancer, pregnancy, a critical pulmonary embolism, several sicknesses, 4 and a half months of chemo, and now lymphedema and prevailed with my beautiful daughter.

We are going to have an amazing new Cowboys fan in the world named Genevieve, and she is my miracle girl.

Thank you everyone for the congratulations.

The feeling of being a father and truly caring more about someone else than you do about yourself really is an otherworldly thing.

My girlfriend is such a strong woman. Not many people can say they've done cancer, pregnancy, divorce, pulmonary embolism, lymphedema, watching a 2 year old, moving into a new home, falling in love (and subsequently dealing with me) and finishing their second Masters degree ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

I'm truly lucky to have this woman; any lesser woman would've given up and she has handled it with aplomb.

Hopefully, Genevieve will get her momma's toughness and looks and get her daddy's love of the Cowboys.
