My first High Def Cowboys's game...

I have had a high def TV for a few years now but only extended basic cable, so my only high def viewing has been from blue-ray disc. I had Direct TV installed this week so this will be my first Cowboys game in high def. I really enjoyed watching the BCS championship in high def I just wish the outcome was a little different.
 
It's one hell of a big difference. Enjoy the game in all of its crystal clear glory bro. Go Cowboys!
 
It's like Night and day. I can not watch anything unless it's in high def anymore. Welcome to the future, unless your into 3d that will be coming out this year.

I'm curious to know what kind of HDTV you have. Why didn't you just get a regular ota antenna and get HD for local channels. Unless you got your HDTV over 3 years it should be capable of doing that.

Maybe he lives in the boonies and doesn't get good OTA.

It is a Sony Bravia. I never really considered that but it would have probably worked.:banghead:

I live between Beaumont and Port Arthur. I have not tried since the new digital stuff but I used to get good reception with an antennae. Unfortunately this has never crossed my mind since I had cable.:D
 
Our first playoff win in ages in high def. I love it. I am also enjoying having the NFL network.:bow:

I got a HDTV for Blu-ray movies. I got my HDTV and Blu-ray player for my room and I got them in the summer of 2009. After I got my HDTV I noticed that I get NBC,ABC,CBS and Fox all in High-definition. So I have watched some of the Cowboys games in High-definition in my room.


For the playoffs I will be watching all the Cowboys games at a sports bar. If the Cowboys go on to win the Super Bowl maybe they will come out with a Blu-ray edition of all 4 of the Cowboy's playoff wins this season :starspin :starspin Go Cowboys :starspin :starspin
 
Welcome to the world of HD.

I had the HD signal available, but not the tv. I bought my tv (panasonic 42" plasma) just a few hours before the home opener. I wish I would have bought one sooner. The picture quality is awesome.

It's actually clearer OTA. cable and DirectTV filter their HD feeds.
 
D-TV's HD is pathetic. I finally dumped them because I was tired of paying a premium for faux HD.

Mine too. I recently got a 47" Vizio, blue ray player, upgraded to high def on both satellite and cable oh and upgraded my eyeglass prescription.

This is for real and the only complaint I have at times there is too much visual information. In the recent win against the Eagles I clearly saw Wade leaking out of his right nostril and a white booger!

Thats because most of the programming offered by D-TV isnt true HD. True HD is broadcasted in 1080p. Anything less is just HQ, not HD
