I don't like the idea of dropping that far down.....we need talent, not just bodies for these positions. look at what a CD can do for you....look at what parsons can do for you.

I'd normally agree. But in this draft, I'm not so sure. Who would we be missing out on? That's 7 picks between 38 -107. That's pretty good.

pretty good is not excellent. what if Jeanty is there? what if Warren is there? what if Membou is there? what if McMillan is there? how about Mykel Williams? are you going to miss out on Golden? impact players. not just bodies for rotation. we need to draft for stars, as opposed to depth and rotation guys.

Celebration? Meltdown?

I am rarely happy with the Cowboys draft. So, that would be standard for me. Although, I told my son that I wanted them to draft Micah six months prior. It was a double celebration as they picked up a 3rd in a trade down and still landed the one I wanted.

I get the stars part, but we can see in real time if players like that are falling. I also wouldn't stay at 12 just to get one of those WRs or Williams.

I'm not all into the scouting part this year, so I just take stabs at it after just taking a glance at players.
