My free agent prediction is Martellus Bennett

Last year I had a hunch and called Darren McFadden as our significant free agent pickup in January (believing we would not resign Demarco)... this year, I believe we will sign Martellus Bennett. I think Chicago lets him leave and we promise him a full time role in a 2 TE-based offense. With Witten declining (but still playing well), I think Bennett would be interested. On talent alone, he is top 5 at the position. If we can manage his head games, he could be a great heir apparent to Witten and infuse another inline good blocker and playmaker the offense sorely needs.

My secondary prediction is RB Lamar Miller, but he seems to be a hot name on everyone's radar... What's your free agent prediction?

That ship has sailed. He doesn't want to play second fiddle to a HOF and has too big of an ego that doesn't mesh well with said HOF.

Local Chicago beat reporter says it's "hard to see" Chicago keeping Bennett. He was IRd early.

I expect Bennett to sign in Seattle. The brothers have been wanting to play together and MartyB would like to win.

He wasn't at all happy being the best blocking TE in football here. No way he comes back unless we change coaches/schemes.
