My GF in Olympic Opening Ceremony tonight! Offseason Moves!

Sorry, probably shouldn't be in this forum, but I'm proud of it and thought I'd share. Please move it if inappropriate.

She has the honour of carrying the "Canada" placcard/sign in front of the Canadian flag and athlete contingent at the Opening Ceremonies in a few hours.

She's super honoured (not to mention nervous)

There is a bit of a Cowboy connection for me anyway, because she has gotten to know the NBC TV Contingent, and thinks that she can arrange for a tour of new Cowboys Stadium for us if and when we visit Dallas for the 2010 season.

Would like some local suggestions as to what to do/see at some point if it pans out!

Oh, if it helps to keep my "brag" post up,

I think we need a fast WR (need another speed/agility/quickness offensive weapon), ball hawk safety, hard hitting MLB (to eventually replace Brooking), and Oline, Oline for future in draft.

With Superbowl in Dallas next, I'm betting Jerry does roll the dice again (he's a gambler) and pay the one free agent over $5 Million, but don't have a clue who we'd go after there!

Tivo's both NBC and CTV coverage. NBC's was better than our own countries IMHO.

I didn't get a good shot of her, but from what I saw she is very striking. Congratulations.

I know Vancouver was not trying to top Beijing, and truthfully I don't think anyone ever can, but I wish they had done more. I felt bad at the faux pas with the lighting of the Olympic Flame. They didn't deserve that. It was a good opening ceremony.

Sad that Jamaica didn't qualify in bobsled. It isn't a true winter olympics without Sanka Coffee the push car king. Joking.

Everyone keeps talking about how great the opening ceremonies in Bejing were. Honestly, I don't remember it at all.

But I must say last nights was incredible.

Watched it last night. Larry, she was perfect. Nice job. A few bumps in the ceremony, but it was a decent start, despite the sad news about the Georgian Luger.
