I really don't care too much when it is played. I don't think it matters too much to the majority of people out there.
But I caught the tail end of a PTI segment and they were talking about Colts/Saints players in the Pro Bowl. Don't know what they said but I was thinking of cheesey and more watered down the Pro Bowl will be if SB teams do not participate.
Imagine a couple teams with 8-10 Pro Bowlers just sitting it out. That's almost 20 players who get the Pro Bowl recognition that don't deserve it. On top of the players who already claim injury to sit out, you could be going 5th or maybe even 6th alternate at a few positions.
Just kind of sucks for the players who earned an outright nod to go. They don't get any more recognition than a guy who wasn't top 5 worth of going but is.
