Id be a broke man if I kept betting on the draft, but that doesnt mean Im going to stop trying. Here is how I see rounds 1-4 going

1-Jordan Davis. They didnt make him an official visit for fun. Broaddus had said that they interested in him even before he blew up the combine. He is projected to go higher, will he fall here? I think with a deep DE and OT class as well as the possibility Davis might be a two down player early could have him fall to us. Quinn has used big DT's all over the line, and Davis build and athleticism is something he can max out. I believe if Davis is there, he is the pick

2-Sam Williams. Been alot of smoke with Williams this year like his Williams brother Milton last year. We ultimately didnt land Milton, but I think we grab Sam. Double digit sack potential is hard to pass on at 54, and character issues are likely going to have Williams available

3- Cam Jurgens. Jurgens may go higher, but I think he is available here. Jurgens likely starts over Biadasz and Dallas signs a FA after the draft to play LG

4- Erik Ezukanma. Outside the top guy, he is the only other WR I recall them showing interest. Hard guy to gauge value wise. Ive seen him talked about in the 3rd. Walterfootball doesnt even have him listed. Dont really buy. I think he is a 100-150 type guy, who you hope can be the next Wilson at some point

Sam might be a bit of a reach, but if he's any good, who cares? I'd take those 4, especially if Davis falls to 24.

1. Davis being a two down NT should be the reason the Cowboys aren't interested in him unless they switch to a base 3-4. My guess is he'll go before 24 to a base 3-4 defense to play NT. Maybe Patriots? Brugler does rank him #24

2. Sam Williams should go in the 3rd round. Some teams have taken him off their board completely. Brugler has him #91 overall with non-1st rounders Ojabo, Mafe, Jackson, Bonitto, Leal, Robinson, Malone, Paschal, Thomas above him.

3. Brugler has Cam Jurgens at the top of the 2nd tier inside o-linemen at #54 overall, well into the second round.

4. Brugler has Ezukanma #171 which is late 5th round. In the 4th I would hope for Danny Gray or Khalil Shakir.

Cannot see a defensive heavy class, everything points to fixing the offense this yr

My guess is a trade up and everybodies board gets wrecked.
This looks like a year where everyone's board is already wrecked. It has the flavor of 2013 with a much better 1st round. Alot of guys lumped together that year, but it was a historically bad 1st round. I think players are similarly lumped, but the 1st round talent is much better. Cross is a better LT prospect than Fisher or Joekle were rhat year IMO

Circumstances can change that
Sure board can alter plans, but I believe they want a guard, te and wr in this draft. It wouldn’t shock me if they don’t draft defense until day 3. Look at all those late defensive players they brought in as 30 visitors

They typically dont draft like that though. They are usually value ******
