My guess at the practice squad

Here's who I would try to get on our practice squad considering only the players cut by the Cowboys. Realistically, some other team will probably grab one or two of ours and we will grab one or two from some other team. But going only with our own guys, here is who I keep:

Rodney Hannah
Amendola
Jefferson
Lattimore.

In my mind he is. And it's preseason games bias not Hard Knocks bias. I just think Lattimore played better.

I could go for replacing either Jefferson or Amendola with Davis.

I didn't see much from Alonzo Coleman in the preseason. Lattimore at least flashed some ability in one of the games.(Chargers or Broncos?) They might be able to make him a small FB like a Ritchie Anderson.

Like the PS picks..................but I'm hoping they pick Dixon. Thought he was doing OK before the injury occurred.

After what they showed Thursday night they probably will. However, that's why I would pick them for our PS if they don't.

I wouldn't be opposed to that switch. Someone above suggested replacing Jefferson with Dowayne Davis, which might be a good move too. If that happened, would you go with Amendola or Lowber? I wouldn't cry either way.

Amendola would be ready to get called up in an emergency situation a lot quicker than Lowber, but he seems to be viewed as physically limited. I don't think he's good enough to play as a gunner on our coverage units and he's a back-up returner. I also wonder how many hits he could take if on special teams duty.

Moonshot is nowhere near ready to play the position and may never be, but the athleticism is off the charts.

The young receivers currently injured should all be back in the month of September, keeping that in mind, I'd choose Lowber because of the physical tools.
