My guess is that Romo was still hurting last night

Look at that first half and even when he got away from the rush, he couldn't get the ball to anyone down field. You can say he is a turn over machine and all but go back and watch the game. He just COULDN'T hit the receiver.

This is not normal for him IMHO. In the 2nd half he started playing better and I wonder if he got some shots at half. He looked like he was able to throw again. Having hurt my back I can see how he could have problems throwing the long ball if he was still stiff and sore. He also might have been worrying too much about pulling it if it were very stiff and sore.

Or QB went out last night and did not look like himself. Can we at least consider that there might have been a reason?

I also have to say that I now HATE Deion. What a jerk he was last night continuing to bang on his agenda of Romo is bad, Garret is bad, and Owens and R Williams were perfect. I'd love to see him stand in the pocket and find the receivers that are so easy to hit. He is a tool and he makes me sick!

DIAF..........go look at the QB stats and rankings for the league and come back and tell me that this game was a normal game for him and he just came back to normal after a great game against the Giants. I'm happy to listen to this if you back it up with some facts.

Romo is still learning, and many of us seem to forget he doesn't have a lot of NFL experience yet. That being said, he was awful for 3 1/2 quarters last night and he was even worse against Pitt. We can only hope he continues to improve throughout his career. I'm disappointed in his play, but I still think he has a bright future.

after that long bomb, they didn't have tony throwing any of those ridiculous passes. it should've been obvious after tony threw that first int duck that he couldn't throw that pass.

but TO missing the ball just gave them encouragement to try it again.

i get that teams know this and are forcing tony to throw it over the top. still you gotta have more plays than tony escape the rush, then just chuck it deep to TO.

I know he throws some int's, but so does another QB who's going to the HOF.
But his upside is worth it.

FLCowboyFan....go and look up Tony Romo's stats and the this team's record during his tenure as the starting QB in the month of December. This IS a normal game for him....a normal late-season-when-it-REALLY-matters game, and once again Romo helped choke it away. Only last night, he got some help in that department from the defense.

You're right. He was Tony. The QB who played his *** off in the fourth quarter and TWICE lead us down the field for TD to keep us in the game while his defense had decided to think about their Hawaii snubs instead of tackling runningbacks.

You have to at least admit that Tony sleepwalked for three quarters before waking up to play in the 4th. That's becoming his MO and it's really not very appealing. Maybe he needs to get to the field an hour before everyone else every game to warm up a little longer.......

You conveniently forgot to mention that HE WAS THE ONE THAT PUT US THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Unless you think 13-26 or whatever for 2 ints and 75 yards is playing his *** off.

Romo isnt a leader...he has all the talent to be a great one, but he doesnt get "it"

If we had Troy Aikman in his prime on this team, we'd be a lock for a championship. Last night, had we traded Romo for Joe Flacco before the game, we'd have won. Until Romo starts doing all the little things he will never be more than what he currently is.
