First five picks. Round 1 we trade down with SF. We get 30, 56 and 77.

1. Dominique Easley- DT

2a. Scott Crichton- DE

2b. Jimmie Ward- S

3a. Trai Turner- OG

3b. Will Sutton- DT

Get it done Jerry!

Don't want. I would honestly be pretty upset if our first round pick is someone with such a sketchy injury history. I also don't think Sutton makes it out of the second round so you may have to switch Ward and Sutton.

With all that, I couldn't really judge the first five picks without seeing the rest because we need a lot more help at DE.

Ward is a likely early 2nd or late 1st. He probably gets drafted before any of the guys on your list.

That is pretty much my favourite draft I've seen.

So SF is going to make the same trade they made with us last year. But this time they are giving us a 2nd and a 3rd? Right.

This. If there's someone they really really want we may get a 6th to go with their 3rd but that's about it.

The old value chart has it as a 2nd you need to jump up -- but I've noted before, the spot isn't what has value, it is the players available at that spot.

As I see it -- the "value" players that might be there are guys like Manziel (although I expect he goes top 10). Value position, player several teams likely have ranked as the top QB in the draft. He's the kind of guy you might get a 2 for in a move up. Otherwise if it is a safety or lineman you are more in the #3 land.

I agree only way we will get a deal like that is if a qb falls it's just the next team I'd say might take him(or one of the other qbs) would be Arizona and someone could trade for 19 abit cheaper and still get their guy.

Easley in the 1st......uhmm...NO.

NEVER and I mean never believe last draft week hype.

with that injury and recovery time, he could go a lot later than you think

I agree. I like Easley a lot as well, but I want our first pick to be healthy when we pick him.
