CFZ My issue with Parsons is usage

Parsons has been so good as an edge rusher that it's difficult to move him. But he has that same level of potential as an off-ball LB.

Parsons says "A".

Quinn, the guy who actually makes the decisions, says "B".

No other opinions matter.

He hasn’t been worn down. He’s just exhausted because he plays at 100 mph all the time and he plays nearly every snap.

He needs to just keep doing what he’s been doing. The team needs to make sure that he gets a little more rest when he’s been playing every snap.

I think too much has been made of this issue. We are not going to line up Parsons at RDE full time. Smarter to move him around and create mismatches. But it would also be foolish to have him chasing RBs and TEs. Quinn already said that Parsons is a pass-rushing linebacker. That's exactly what he is.

Good luck slowing Parsons down. We have even more weapons this season, let them eat.

100 might even be low.
