R1 - 19 Rashaan Evans, OLB/ILB 6-3 #235, Alabama
or
Leighton Vander Esch ILB 6-4 #240 Boise State
R2 - 50 Tim Settle, DT, 6-3 #325 Virginia Tech - A proven pass rusher that so far has shown to best fit as a 4-3 tackle in an attacking defensive scheme he had 12.5 TFL’s and 4 sacks last year, even though seeing a lot of extra attention in the form of double teams
R3 - 81 Wyatt Teller, G, 6-4 #310 Virginia Tech -A converted defensive end, and that athleticism, footwork, and tenacious use of his arms to gain leverage is evident on every play. A ferocious competitor His pass protection is where he truly excels, where his excellent balance allows him to recover even when pushed back by an overpowering defender.
R4 - 116 Fred Warner, OLB, 6-3 #235 BYU - An exceptional tackler that anticipates plays well and displays patience and gap discipline. A natural leader, Warner one a bright spot on a team that endured a tumultuous season, and is a very high football character prospect
R4 137 Cedric Wilson, WR, 6-1 #190 Boise State - He's a worker and he doesn't take anything for granted because he had to work his way into this position. He's self made. I go to bat for those guys because they never let you down due to football character.
R5 - 171 Daurice Fountain WR 6-1 #210 Northern Iowa - However, Fountain's strong showing at the Shrine Game practices likely increased the number of teams who will target him on Day 3
R5 - 173 Greg Senat, OT, 6-6 #305 Wagner - Senat lacks bulk but looks the part in the uniform if he could add functional mass. Unfortunately, he looks better than he plays at this point and needs a great deal of technique work as both a run blocker and pass protector.
R6 -193 Taron Johnson, CB, 5-11 #190 Weber State - ohnson notched 43 tackles with eight passes broken up and three interceptions. He totaled 12 breakups each season as a junior and a sophomore Johnson's best role might come as a big nickel/slot corner
R6 - 208 Mike Love, DE, 6-4 #260 South Florida - he has enough size, a great motor and some quickness. Sources say that Love showed disruptive spurts and has some experience standing up, so he has some scheme flexibility. In 2017, Love totaled 28 tackles with 11 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks and three passes broken up.
R7 - 236 Ito Smith, RB, 5-10 #200 Southern Miss - He also has a nose for the end zone and receiving ability for the NFL. As a senior, Smith averaged 5.7 yards per carry for 1,321 yards with 13 touchdowns. He had 36 receptions for 370 yards as well
