Power has always been there but last season he looked awkward applying his hand techniques and keeping them active through the rush. This year I see him very active with his hands but more importantly, able to use his hands to counter and get off blocks if he doesn't win right off.

He will be limited by his arm length but he has come a long way in technique as opposed to last year. when the counters come second nature, I think he will be a load to block. His bullrush is rocking guys. If the OL takes more than a step or two back then they are in the QBs face. curious to see if he has added power but that test will be a week from tomorrow.

Here is to Ken taking over.

I really hope we can depend on Bishop because terrell mcclain is another unreliable guy who is constantly injured.

He looks like he's dropped some weight and it's added some more explosiveness. I think he makes the team over Coleman. They have Mincey, J Crawford , and Hardy all lining up inside during passing downs. I see Lawrence and Hardy being the DE's on 3rd down(at least from what I've observed at practice).

From what i have watched...Coleman looks explosive. These preseason games will be telling.

That's really exciting that your man looks good.

As you point out his length may not quite be adequate, but with his improved hand technique I'm expecting him to get the job done.

It'd be nice if he could beat Hayden out for playing time, or at least limit his snaps.
