-Peerless Price is nothing more than insurance if one of the top 3 WR's get hurt and probably if the Cowboys want to go to 4 WR sets on occasion. I've been saying that since we signed and today proves it. The top 3 WR's are not #1 quality at this point in their careers, but they are #2 quality and they compliment each other well.
-We do need to look for Witten more to make the offense more dynamic.
-We still can't run block to the right side, yet we keep going there.
-We always run screens to the right side and I don't know why.
-Our ST coverage sucks. DeHaven isn't impressing now.
-While the pass rush wasn't great by any means, the SD O-Line is pretty good.
-More importantly, we have a defense that doesn't turn to mush in the 4th quarter.
-You can run at Ware for periods of time.
-Hey Greg Ellis, if you can't bull rush Brees on a block, don't bother complaining about having to play 3-4 DE spot.
-Canty played excellent today.
-What a game by Anthony Henry.
-You can pass at Keith Davis, he struggled today.
-Roy is still the best run stopping safety in the game.
-Out of the 4 sacks, 2 were Bledsoe's fault by my count.
-Jeff Condo had a poor day snapping the ball.
-Hey, we got smoked by a lesser Minny team at this time last year.
-While there are some concerns on defense, we did stop the run pretty well against a strong running team and Fujita has yet to get acclimated with the defense which should help with the run defense and pass rush.
-Gotta give Cortez some credit. He had some decent kickoffs and had to make tackles that he should have never been in the position to make to begin with.
-Hey Troy, we love you as Cowboys fans and I know want to be unbiased as an announcer, but those were legit calls against SD today.
-I wonder what Bill Simmons has to say now about Bledsoe reuniting with Parcells now?
-Feels GREAT to get a win on opening day, especially against a team that went 12-4 last year and doing it on their turf.
