This is what i would have done had the draft fallen exactly like it did:

1. TJ Watt
2. Ju Ju Smith-Schuster
3. Cordrea Tankersley
4. Jake Butt
6. Xavier Woods
6. Josh Carraway
7. Isaiah Ford
7. Chad Kelly

2 guys with 2 ACL tears(TWO!!) and a head case in Kelly,i would be very upset with that draft.

I'm not reading all that. A- draft... day 2 was the best. I think our defense will be much improved.
I have to agree with you. We needed talented players especially on defense and that's what we drafted add in the fact we got in my opinion a first round talent at receiver

I'm glad you don't make the decisions on who we draft

Not sure I agree with no impact players. I think there is a very good chance that our first 3 picks will be starting and if not starting then they will play a significant amt of snaps. Switzer I can see adding a whole new dimension to our punt rtn team with game changing field position + a whole new dimension to our passing attack with both he and Beasley on the field together...Dak is going to love his short passing game options IMO. I think collectively this bunch will add so much with their youth and enthusiasm it's going to be nuts.

Right now I would have to say that our defense is better than what we ended the year at. The FO was wise in turning the whole defense over as we were not winning with it anyway. Bravo Jerry & Co...

I wonder how Switzer and Beasley would line up if both in the game at the same time. Yes, Dak will have some quick release short options, and also, put #21 into the same mix. Switzer might have more speed, and therefore replace Williams for the downfield threat needed to clear the CB and safety. Dez on the other side is also going to benefit. It's going to be an exciting year, offensively. If they can score 30 points a game, they have a chance to go deep.

Another kid that we should not sleep on is this FA rb out of Temple, I checked out his youtube highlights and the kid is pretty dam amazing. His stop/start and change of direction are very impressive...seems to be a much better alternative than Dunbar. Undrafted due to size and a subpar 40 time of 4.62 I believe. Check out his vids, this kid may be slow but he has quickness that is unmatched. JAHAD THOMAS...Can this kid make the team with Dunbar gone?

The biggest negative from his highlights is that he may try to do too much. Some times you just got to go.

Less juking and more north-south running he will get more yards. Emmitt was somewhere around his range but he knew when to burst upfield and maximize the yards.

Emmitt was in the 4.5s. This guy is in the 4.6s. It shows too.

IIRC, Jerry Rice ran a 4.67 and a 4.72. And both the Cowboys (Gil Brandt) and Bill Walsh badly wanted him in the draft.

When Rice was asked about his slow 40 times he just said (paraphrasing) that he thinks he could win a 40 yard dash against most anybody if they were running side-by-side, but running the 40 yard dash by himself like they do in the combine was something he 'couldn't get up for.'

To me, Taco is fast enough to play this position at this point. I just wuoldn't want him losing anymore speed.

Taco ran a 1.63 10 yard split at his pro day. I am not concerned about his athleticism. We are talking about that UDFA RB they signed.
