Shanle had an atrocious game. Worst linebacker play I've seen in Dallas in quite a few years.

It's very, very, very suspicious that McNabb's "sports hernia" only acted up after he made a terrible play and his team went behind. Maybe TO was right and someone is the epitome of "unclutch" (choke).

I drank one every time that an announcer said "sports hernia". Let's just say that thank gawd I have a tap system with a new half in it.

Parcells and co. were outcoached. Philly threw things at Dallas that should have been expected but weren't. Lucky to win.

Nguyen showed in the red zone with his recognition that why, although he's not the biggest LB in the world, age and knowledge will overcome size and strength every time.

Newman is the best corner in football. They don't even attempt to throw the ball downfield on him.

Pettiti played his best game in Dallas pass blocking.

Jones is seriously in the dog house. It was telling that he wasn't in the game on the last series with the outcome on the line.

Bledsoe fell back on his pat, pat, hold it, take the sack pattern. I don't believe that he ever threw the ball away intentionally. He had Glenn once early and threw a Carterish duck.

Regarding McNabb's injury -- I believe 100% that he aggrivated it. The way he rolled on the ground, it wouldn't surprise me.

Regarding Pettiti, I agree. I'll also add that Tucker had a pretty weak game on the other side.

It was a good read by Dat, but his play was awful all game...He just isn't tough enough to play the position anymore...
Shanle isn't much better and also lacks speed...I wish Burnett would grow into that spot, but it looks like he played outside.

i thought it was funny that Kearse has made about 5 plays all season but has some pretty elaborate celebrations. Last year, I don't remember him.

Barber didn't really run any better than Jones tonight except for that one long draw play when the Eagles were running a two-minute defense. I still think Julius is the better runner, but there's no way to tell until our o-line does a decent job.

He had a half-dozen routines planned out in the off season for when he made a big play. He still has 4 left.

Kearse's contract signals the window of opportunity for Philadelphia closing. Nice player, but he's also the first time in the salary cap era that the Eagles spent their dollars poorly.

Speaking of LBs... we should look into getting one of those linebacker studs from Ohio State in the 2006 college draft... AJ Hawk or Bobby Carpenter... We need a legit 250+ lb tackling machine in the middle next year... The 3 - 4 works well with those guys... AJ plays the MLB, but Carpenter is an OLB... we need a stud LB in next year's draft... grab all O-linemen after that one, throw in a 6'3" WR next year or a true FS, then look out...

he cant possibly be in anymore of a doghouse than Barber right now...that fumble was just pathetic, and it wasnt even a good hit on im or a helmet to the ball either...it was just a pansy play

You guys notice more of that stuff than I do but I thought our entire defence except for Newman and Roy was weak tonight. Our RBs did nothing and that fumble by Barber was disgusting.

I think it is a bit much to crap on Bledsoe. He blew it on the INT but he was not bad the rest of the game.

Re McNabb, he definitely aggravated it when James took him out. I was kind of hoping he would pull it when he did that little dance in the end zone.

Can someone tell me why Dawkins is allowed to wear a space shield at night?

The Eagles have some of the biggest hams in football. They tackle someone and are dancing like they won the SB.

The other thing I forgot to mention was the OL. Criticize their blocking as much as you'd like, but not having a single false start on the road in a boisterous stadium is something to be commended, especially when the home team had plenty.

I was shocked to see Barber in on that last series when he is known as a fumbler and proved it with that lame drop. He was lucky it didn't go far and he was able to fall on it again.

A poorly played and poorly coached game but we still came out with a win.

My last ommision. If anyone else saw Keenan Thompson portraying McNabb's momma on Saturday Night Live (the skit was terrible on Weekend Update, but nonetheless), I was rolling when they showed her. Talk about a dead ringer.
