I'll do another one when it gets closer to the draft, but I'll take a crack at it seeing it's still early.

1) Kony Ealy*, DE, Missouri

2) Timmy Jernigan*, DT, Florida State

3) Dion Bailey*, S, USC

4) Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, Texas

5) David Fales, QB, San Jose State

7) Deion Belue, CB, Alabama

7) Cody Hoffman, WR, BYU

7) Ryan Groy, OG, Wisconsin

I'd argue with you that this would not be a good draft but I'm afraid to because of your avatar!

I like Ealy, though. :p

Timmy Jernigan is a late first rounder or early second.

Hate the first two picks. I don't understand what anyone sees in either player. Both are very over rated. I live in sec country and watch almost every SEC game, Ealy doesn't impress me.

Give me Crichton and Donald over Ealy and Jernigan.

donald is going to be worse then sharriff is he is really shorter than 6ft. Even at 6ft he is going to struggle

I doubt it, he has way to much quickness and power. He knows how to use his size as an advantage. Look at Jurrell Casey and Geno Atkins. Both are "undersized" but I would take either one over the majority average players.

Please tell me what you see in Ealy, I see nothing when watching him. He plays on a great defense with talent all around. e doesn't fire off the ball or make any great plays in the run game. Sorry but I just don't see anything special in Ealy or Jernigan, but to each their own. This is just my opinion.

Remember he's going to the nfl. I get you on Atkins but is Donald atkins? And there is talk that Donald is even shorter than 6ft. And geno is 6'1 303. that 303 is what makes him effective. Donald is 282. Thats basically 20lbs difference. Thats a huge difference.

Kony what i like about him is he's a perfect guy to play the SDE in Kiffins defense. He played the Weakside at Missouri. He's a monster against the run, and can get after the QB. The thing with Kony is on these passing downs that Dallas struggled on you can actually move him inside to have another passrusher on the field as they did with him at Missouri.

All this and something Broaddus brought up the other day that Marinelli prefers lighter taller guys for his DL.

I agree about Ealy. I just don't think he is worth the 16th pick. I have him more late 1st or early 2nd round. I just like Crichton more.

Donald we just disagree on. When the only think you can find wrong about him is his size. The guy was a beast I. College and dominated everyone in front of him including future NFL OGs. I've see guys bigger then Donald not even come close to his production.

We will find out what he measures next week, I think he is a perfect fit as a 3 tech in the Tampa 2. He can gain the weight.

Also Warren Sapp was 6-2 305. Donald can get to 300. Melton played at 290 last year.

I wouldnt be suprised to see Donald around 272-275 and his height then you have to see how short his arms are. If thats all on the short end he wont go higher then the 4th. Nomatter production. Chase Thomas dominated College, he wasnt drafted because his measurables.

It's difficult to sort out all of these DLinemen. I see good and not so good from all of them.

Ealy - Good size/strength with good but not elite quickness
Crichton - Shorter, lighter and not any faster than Ealy.
Donald - Super quick, but short and lightweight. Arm Length = ?
Jernigan - Decent size and decent quickness. Might get over-drafted. Arm Length = ?

I would put an emphasis on arm length to differentiate some of these players. I won't be as concerned about Donald's height if he has good arm length.

I keep going back to Drake Nevis. He is a shortish DT with really good quickness and is over 300 lbs; however, he just couldn't get off blocks in the NFL if he didn't win with his 1st step. I think his short arms were a big problem for him.
