love your draft man, especially going out there like me and pickin Nate Allen. I'd have to say the guy fits our scheme the best outta the safeties likely to be available @ 27 and I think our need at FS is bigger than our need on the O-line.

Nate Allen is growing on me, although I do believe OLine adresses a bigger need.
Right now I think Ball @ FS is a worse hole than Free @ LT.

I would be a little upset if we drafted Allen at 27. Not because we got allen, but because we drafted a guy at least 10 slots ahead of where he should go. I dont blame you for doing a mock without trade ups/downs, but there is no reason for us to draft Allen at 27. Especially if Taylor Mays is still on the board. I dont want Mays at all, but he is viewed pretty universally as a better prospect then Allen which makes the trade down even more logical.

If Baluga falls that far and we pass on him we'd be fools...

Yeah, three RTs is exactly wat we need.

:eek::

Guy has been projected in the top 10, Colombo can walk in 2011 and the other jag can either be our backup or move to guard...:laugh2:

Every guy listed 28-32 I'd rather have than Allen. Allen's not close to the 27th best prospect in the draft, and he probably won't be the best safety on the board when we pick. I'd be upset if we chose him, unless we moved down.

Man, if we can't get a top flight OL, I would love to have Jared Odrick. No way he gets passed Steelers and Pats. (or Ravens for that matter)

This guy is strong, quick, and has a motor. To me, that is exactly what you want in a 3-4 defensive lineman. (in the mold of Ratliff, though not near as powerful)

I wonder what it would cost to leapfrog the Pats into the Bengals at 21 to get him. That might be a bit too costly a jump for him though. Unless we traded our #1 and a player.

Safety, would be third on my list.

Can't say, I really want any of those five guys after Allen at 27. But I sure do not want Allen there. Just because he played with Jenkins. He's a fine player, but not worthy of that high a pick imo. Trade down or make a deal with Pats to grab Wilson. If not just staying pat and drafting Saffold. Then go hard after Burnett in round 2.

What about Morgan Burnett?

The only safeties that will fit our need that are rated higher IMO that Nate Allen are Eric Berry and Earl Thomas. IMO Nate Allen is better than Taylor Mays b/c he better fits our need. I wouldn't mind reaching a bit by taking Allen @ 27. Allen is a high 2nd round pick so not much difference between 27 and high 2nd.
