Guy who gets after the QB and plays solid vs the run.

RD2
Sidney Jones CB Washington
Dallas would be wise to get him here. Let him heel and come back in 2018 ready to become that #1 CB. Let him hit the weight room too and build a little more size.

RD3
Justin Evans SS Texas A&M
Guy who can play all over the secondary. Can even slide over to FS when Dallas moves Jones to cover TE's allowing Heath to play SS.

RD4
Julie'n Davenport T Bucknell
Huge guy who has the feet to excell in the Zone scheme Dallas uses.

RD6
Nate Hairston CB Temple
Zone cover coner who tackles.

RD7
Joshua Dobbs QB Tennessee
Smart QB who needs to develop.

RD7
Devine Redding RB Indiana
Nice vision gets up the field.

Great first 3 picks.

We seem to love Big10 players. Jerry loves his injury gambles. We've been linked to Justin Evans.

Thats what im saying. And its not like Jaylons. Jones is going to be ready probably even by the playoffs if he works hard. But i see anybody waiting until 2018.

I dont know about Jones in the 2nd. How many years has it been since we've drafted someone in the second round that actually contributes that year? I'd pass and find someone who could come in and compete right away. Its like using second rounder for next year. Again. And again.

Again its not about what you want. I dont make these for my wants. I base my mocks on need and history of the team and what theyve shown that they will do. Like this Rd2 pick on Jones is something this team would def do. But i think somebody will pull the trigger way before pick 60.

Oh, thats right. You did mention that. My bad. In that case, it surely does look like a Dallas draft.

Why would the bears draft Trubisky when they just signed Glennon?

Like our draft. Will be interesting if they bring Taco in for a visit. I still think they go secondary with the 1st pick, most likely Peppers.

Cam Robinson to the eagles??

Other than that it looks pretty good. Personally I would stay away from Jones now. Achilles is the type of injury you can't really put a timetable on, but I think it's safe to say he's not playing year 1. After that you just hope he gets backs to 100% but who really knows.

If they draft Jones I'll be even more disillusioned with the teams brain-trust. That being said, I'm sure they are already hoping he 'slides' so the 'potential steal of the draft' talk can start. I'm still waiting for a team to draft a player who dropped due to devastating injury and end up 'winning' on the 'steal' in that players first contract.

I'm good with the first pick. The rest of the mock is incorrect.

With the way FA is playing out, the Cowboys cant take a CB that's going to sit in the shelf for a season in the 2nd round. Just can't do it. They are going to need a rookie CB to come in and play. Now if Jones slid to the third or fourth (unlikely), I would.

And there is no chance the Eagles take Robinson. One of the beat writers said he was told they are going skill player or DE at 14.

Please, no, on Sidney Jones in the second round. We need players who can contribute THIS YEAR!!!

If Justin Evans is deemed a third round selection, he'll go in the fourth or lower. He's not highly ranked, and we don't need to reach for players.

Also, I don't know what scouts and fans are high on Joshua Dobbs. He's an awful quarterback - a run first, run second then pass and that inaccurately quarterback.
From the games I've seen him play, I'm just not impressed.
