Wishful thinking that Dodd is there in the 2nd. Has almost zero chance of happening.

If the QB is not an option at 4, that wouldn't be a bad result. I am not a huge fan of Jack at 4 but that's better than say Bosa there.

I don't think it's that outrageous. For example, CBS's new prospect rankings have him listed at 32.................

Thanks MichaelW I think Jalen Ramsey might be there to me its a 50/50 shot if hes there I would take him.
But I think Noah Spence will be there at #34 however not sure on Karl Joseph he could go late 2nd Round
but if they look up and hes there at #67 run to the podium and smile. In my opinion having a Secondary
consisting of Byron Jones, Jalen Ramsey and Karl Joseph would be only 2nd in the League to the Seahawks.
This weakness becomes a core strength like our Offensive Line.

#4 Jalen Ramsey,CB Florida
#34 Noah Spence, DE E. Kentucky
#67 Karl Joseph, FS W Vir

Ramsey just looks too similar to Claiborne. Think the same priasing it now will be cry about it later. Love Spence but What happens to his snaps when Gregory comes back. Neither are good vs the run. RD3 pick i think is going to be Prescott.

:laugh:Well, it seems that 60% of the board will be unhappy no matter who is picked at #4 based on all the comments.

This draft could end up like 2009 and the entire first round looks bad in hindsight. Aside from Tunsil, I personally don't see a "total package-can't miss" type player among most of these guys, so the question will be if they can overcome whatever warts were pointed out pre-draft.

I like the second round pick by the way. Hope he is there.

Love Jack, Dodd, Robinson, Zettle, and Russell.

Your pick of Dak Prescott turns the whole thing to an F from me though. Awful, awful decision.

I'm not a huge fan of Dak Prescott either especially using Pick #67 NO THANKYOU I would wait and
take one of the other QBs ranked after Prescott. I think our first 3 picks should be to address the Defense.
The only way I consider taking another Player at any of these first 3 picks are the following:

Pick# 34 if any of Paxton Lynch QB, Josh Doctson WR, Henry RB, Fuller WR or Coleman WR are sitting there you should rethink !!!
Pick# 67 if Defense is taken first 2 picks and Shephard WR is there turn in the card !!! (in my opinion Steve Smith clone)

If no QB in first 3 rounds take best one available with one of the 4th Round Picks

1- bosa* this is a no brainer. We are weakest in the trenches and games are won and lost their.
2- William Jackson- gives a great prospect that can compete for the 3rd job immediately
3- sterling shepherd- wr that can be a burner for us. Helps Dez and run game day 1
4- Christian hackenberg- pro style quarterback with all the intangibles. Can learn under romo for 2-3 years. If he isn't cut out sign Matthew stafford from lions in 2018 when he becomes free

I don't see how you can compare Ramsey to Claiborne at all. Ramsey is tall, much bigger, and far more freakishly athletic in every single way. Claiborne seriously got all his hype for his "ball skills".

The person in the draft that resembles Claiborne the most is VHIII. 5'10, light, and pretty slow considering he's that size.

Actually I don't think Shepherd is a burner. He is tough and makes solid catches more similar to Steve Smith

Not sure Jack will remain healthy and don't care for a QB with drinking problems...even if it was a one time thing...

Substitute a RB for one of the 4th round picks and I like it.
