We trade #4 to SF for #7 and #37.
We trade #34 and #37 to DET for #16.

Round 1
#7 RB Ezekiel Elliott
#16 CB William Jackson
Round 3
#67 DT Javon Hargrave
Round 4
#101 WR Keyarris Garrett
#135 QB Dak Prescott
Round 6
#189 S Justin Simmons
#212 CB Kevin Peterson
#216 LB Dadi Lhomme Nicolas
#217 OT Caleb Benenoch

I know I am going to here a lot about Jackson going so high but he will be a top 20 pick and I might be wrong but I think he is a better corner than the great Ramsey and the best in the draft.

I could live with this draft. Especially the first 3 picks.

If the best QB we come out of this draft with is Prescott, it's a miss IMO.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Any reason why Detroit would bail completely out of the first like that?

I am glad a bunch of teams are interested in him. I will breathe a sigh of relief if he goes somewhere else.

No. Maybe once treadwell is gone they look at the wr group as not much of a difference between that pick and the early second. I guess you could use this trade value for any team from 15-20

I rather keep both 2nd round picks and take a guy like Fuller plus a DL, Safety, WR, QB but not to trade back up to 16 for CB. If it was for Lynch sure but not CB

I would only trade back to 7 if you have four guys all closely ranked. If you think oh heck we can trade back to 7 and get still Zeke be prepared for Philly to jump that and trade with Jax or Balt. You'd better have several guys you are willing to take because if you trade back with a target you will be disappointed. If we really want a guy just take him at 4 and don't try to show how smart you are.

Why is SF interested in doing that?

If we don't want a QB then barring a trade, we won't seem one taken at 5 or 6.

The only way they move up is if we've got an offer from another club that they know about. I expect they sit and wait for Balt or Jax to call them and say "hey, we've got a move up offer from a team that wants the QB - you wanna deal instead?"
