My most recent mock-less then two week away

If we get Surtain/Horn, Safety or LB, and McNeil with our first 3 picks then its a home run to me.
Totally agree. Been saying this this December, CB/S and NT are our priority needs. Future starting LB and T and move depth at Edge behind our starters are secondary needs.

BAM!!! Agree 100% you nailed it. All in that order.

Are you a Parsons guy or no?

No, if you take a off the ball linebacker at 10, he better be a 3 down player. Not sure he is can cover and has the same issues with misdirection like our current linebackers.

Where do you get this from?

I want a mlber that clogs the middle, makes anyone pay for going over the middle, sideline to sideline, and can rush the passer if need be. That’s parsons. Always in the backfield.

4.36 speed at 6-3.

Did this simulation via PFN:

1-Surtain CB (We all know, this pick is there him or Horn. Surtain is much safer)
2-Payton Turner DE (like him better then Milton Williams. Team likes both prospects)
3-Bolton LB (Just too good to pass up, reminds me of Erick Kendricks)
Traded pick 99 and 115 for 77
3b-Holland CB/S (a legitimate long-term answer to our safety position)
4-Marvin Wilson DT (worth the gamble this late)

I like the players just don’t like the order. Turner is a project with below average projection and Bolton is a day 3 guy for me.

You know my take on Surtain, I’d like to know who was available at 10 and 44.

You know my pick at 10 would be Slater, but believe the team is zeroed in on Surtain. We disagree on Bolton, think he is on top of the tier 2 LB's. Turner might be a little high, but the team has shown a lot of interest in him. Don't remember who was available at these spots as it was a few days ago.

It's countless hours of draft prep. Got to understand, Parsons is new to the position. He is an upside pick and needs development, especially in coverage. Some question his instincts to process his reads quick enough. You aren't going to like this, but some compare him to a pre-injury Jaylon Smith. Bottom line is, he needs more reps and should of played this year. On top of his play on the field, there are some character concerns that might make him fall. There was an article hear in NY comparing his character to Odell, where the Giants are hoping someone else takes him. He started a riot in high school, was involved in a hazing incident at Penn State.

I like the prospect, but think there is a lot of risk taking him at 10. I have Pitts, Tackles, then Parsons over the corners at 10.

Fair enough...honestly I’d be better with Surtain / Holland / Wilson as the first 3 if I know Wilson’s drop off last year was playing through injury and the coaches tell me he’s a hard worker. His 2019 tape was top 20ish.

I actually like Wilson and think he is worth the gamble starting around 99. Could go earlier or much later. It appears likely, they are targeting either Milton Williams, Ossai or Payton Turner on day 2. Think they all need development and won't make a big impact right away.

I don’t like any of those dudes at 44...at all.

All projects with below average production.

I've watched plenty of film on Parsons and he is nothing like Smith. AT whatever time you decided you didnt like Parsons. The guy is constantly in the backfield. Only worry on Parsons is one year of play. Its the ONLY reason they question anything because they havent seen him do a lot of it.

As far as the character stuff in highschool, its up to the scouting department to figure that out.

I do like him, but he is more of an upside pick. Off the field is a big concern, could slide cause of it, not just in high school, but also issues at Penn State

I don’t think this team is interested in Parsons or any other LB as a potential first round pick. It’s a shame because Parsons IMO is the best defensive player in the draft. Go watch that kid’s last game he played which was actually a bowl game. 14 tackles , 2 sacks , 2 forced fumbles, 2 passes defended. Watching it I thought it was one of the best performances by a LB I had seen in quite some time.

Big concern? I think thats an exaggeration. A bigger concern for me is his one year of play and refusing to play last year. We would have to do our homework and be satisfied.

I agree. Dont think they would take him.

It is a big concern, as many insiders have stated he could potentially hurt his stock. Don’t remember the full story, but involves choking and raping a teammate with a broom stick

Lol....cmon. If he really did that he would be in jail.

Do you see Turner being able to play DT on passing downs because I don't see any evidence he can? If not, I think he's a luxury pick since Gregory and Lawrence are passing-down ends and we've even got Basham who can contribute then. I'd much rather get a DT there. I know you draft Wilson in the fourth, but like you said, he's a gamble.
