Right-tackle/Center/Kicker/Nose Tackle in free agency
Outside line-backer/Guard/Free Safety/Wide Receiver/ in draft.

We'll have a stud kicker, so we won't lose close games if it comes down to a kick.
We have a solid (not stud) right tackle, that will not require help every play.
We have an awesome Center/Guard/Tackle combination (even if we keep LA)
Our running game would be incredible with Spencer/Bentley/Flozell on the left.

Our passing game would be unbelievable with the protection we'd have, and a guy like Moss who is a home run hitter on every play. Moss in the slot next to Terry Glenn would be so scary to opposing teams, I would even be scared.

Our return game with Hester would be so exciting yet devastating to opposing teams. Hester could be a star punt returner.

Darryl Tapp would not allow many runs to his side of the field, he peals off of blocks incredibly. I would not have him playing man on man in coverage, just zone. And when he rushes, it would be all out havoc in the backfield for offenses.

Ware will be stronger and possibly bigger with experience, and will terrorize QB's and should be better in coverage.

Burnett has a chance to dominate with his size (6'3 245) If he steps up, then "oh lawd".

Kemoeatu is a BIG BIG man that will demand double teams or tripple teams. Ware and Spears should be stronger with more experience, all I can say is WOW.

Our corners should be healthy and ready to dominate. Roy Williams will play closer to the line since Pat Watkins can cover man on man well, and Watkins will be the ball hawk we've been searching for (even if it takes a couple of years to develope)

All in all, I could see us in the SuperBowl with this team.
These are just my opinions, like them or not.:D

Tapp will have to play man coverage on TEs and RBs from time to time. I'm still not convinced he can play LB. Spencer will be long gone by the third round, IMHO. I love your FA's. I don't think NO will let Bentley go, though.

I'll be a little more conservative.

FA:
Justin Hartwig (C)
Tom Ashworth (OT)
Ryan Longwell (K)

Draft:
Trade Glover or Ellis and our second to Denver for their first and fourth.

1. Chad Greenway (OLB)
1. Max Jean-Gilles (OG)
3. Todd Watkins (WR)
4. Anthony Schlegel (ILB)
5. Jason Hunter (OLB)
6. Leon Williams (ILB)
7. Scott Ware (S)

I guess my theory is, if we fix the OL, add some playmakers (and depth) at linebacker and young, fast blood at WR, the FS position can wait.

I wonder if Spencer can also play Center?

In case we end up restructuring LA or cut him and bring in a veteran Guard in FA.

Spencer could have a lot of value if he could play both positions.

I'd rather have Carpenter, but I like the Gilles and the Watkins pick. Nice job.

I agree. And if at the combine he doesn't show that he can, then you look at Lawson/Carpenter/ if they are there.

If those 2 are gone, the you go Max Jean-Gilles, and swap Spencer out with an offensive tackle.

slide Vickers in the draft plan in the 4th or 5th round.
I want one of Carpenter or Lawson, preferably both but I'd take one of them AND Tapp happily. Like a Schlegal pick and Jean-Gilles pick and Spencer but I'd like to sneak a Sinorice Moss in there.
Carpenter
Lawson or Tapp
Jean-Gilles or Youngblood
Moss or Stovall
Schlegal
Vickers
In FA, I love Nedney, Grady Jackson or Komatose, and Bentley. I'd also like Chaveous, Demps, or Schulters.

it's highly unlikely that we do more than 1 trade on draft day, but if we did, I like how it turns out ;)

Didn't Nedney reup with the Cards?

I think your thinking of Neil Rackers the kicker who kicked some serious *** this past season. Nedney with the Titans and no he didnt resign yet at least.
