IT'S WEEK 8 AND NO PROFESSIONAL HAS PASSED 65% ACCURACY TOTAL.

___________________________

HERE IT COMES:

___________________________

Arizona at Buffalo, 1:00 p.m.

Arizona,~

Boldins back in the show. Fitzgerald was already burning the #1 CB. How he gonna look against the #2
___________________________
Baltimore at Philadelphia, 1:00 p.m.

Philadephia~

Until phily loses, I don't think it will happen.
____________________________
Cincinnati at Tennessee, 1:00 p.m.

Cincy~

Cincy is feelin' hot after monday night.....One shot on McNair and he's out for the game. Cris Brown is the man, but not this sunday
____________________________

Detroit at Dallas, 1:00 p.m.

dallas~

Believe it or not Dallas is a better running team than 6 others. Detriot is one of them. Dallas also passes 100 yards more a game than the lions. I originally picked the lions to win, BUT da boys have lost 4 straight.
____________________________

Green Bay at Washington, 1:00 p.m.

SKINS~

How can I go against a team I cheer for?....thats the problem. No matter how I try I always believe we can pull it off. Unless Favre torches out safeties for a 24+ point game I think we can win it.

____________________________

Indianapolis at Kansas City, 1:00 p.m.

COLTS~

KC is hot but defense wins games. Note the over under is like 57+.....WON'T happen
_____________________________

Jacksonville at Houston, 1:00 p.m.

JAGS~

Hey they're for real, In a couple years when lefty grows up they'll have a squad to deal with.......

_____________________________

N.Y. Giants at Minnesota, 1:00 p.m.

MINNY'~

jints' are overachieving . It's gonna come to a halt soon. Just like ron daynes rookie year. ( thunder and lightning ) Oh BTW: minnas' Rb's are BACKkkk.....exit stage left medewale moore

_____________________________

Atlanta at Denver, 4:05 p.m.

DENVER~

Sorry but champ isn't going to let price get open like that this week. Vick is gonna run himself crazy because there won't be anyone open for the first 5 seconds.

_____________________________

Carolina at Seattle, 4:05 p.m.

SEATTLE~

Hmmmm tough call......ever hear of these guys: Branson Bennett, Joey Harris, Nick Maddox, and newly acquired "sultan." No run = No win

_____________________________

New England at Pittsburgh, 4:15 p.m.

new england~

Same with Phily...lose first then I'll consider it......Big ben is gonna look like a rookie , finally.

______________________________

Oakland at San Diego, 4:15 p.m.

San diego~

Both teams blow on defense, but hey SD is on fire just like last year......lets hope Brees finally starts getting this nfl thing because I spent too much money on his rookie cards.
_____________________________

San Francisco at Chicago, 8:30 p.m.

SAN FRAN.~

Chicago Decided that a 5th round pick is better than Tim couch.......oh well...they'll figure it out in a couple weeks.

Too much Madden I see.

Boldin, contrary to popular belief was not considered a #1 WR until the middle of last season. Most likely coming off of an injury he will not be the #1 option this week either. Which could be a good thing for the Cards if he is indeed healthy.

Emmitt is proving that he is still young enough and productive enough to play this game. Hats off to Emmitt. McCown is making mistakes but not enough to lose the game unlike what has been happening in Buffalo. This Cardinals team under Green has come a long way in a short time and their confidence seems to be spreading.

The real issue in this game is whether or not the Bills Offense will ever get it together, their defense is pretty good, even without Milloy. Henry and McGahee are solid RBs but neither is enough to win games when that is the only offensive threat this team has. Bledsoe is getting sacked left and right. His release is pitifully slow and he is not making the correct adjustment on audible plays to save his own neck. The receivers are getting no seperation either.

However the Cards D is what is making it possible for them to win games.

Cardinals win 17- 13. I have zero faith in Bledsoe righting this ship.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Without Jamal Lewis the Ravens team is nearly the same, without Ogden.... now that is a different story. The Ravens RBs are pretty good with Smith, Taylor and Sams. But without the big guy to run behind it could mean that the Eagles may look decent against the run. After last week I am sure they are more committed to stopping the run anyway.

I for one am not sold on Boller at all. All of the other young QBs starting now look better IMO, McCown, Big Ben, Rattay, Carr, Etc..

Now I do realize that the Ravens receivers are nothing to brag about with the exception of Heap who is unfortunately injured. Maybe in time Boller will have some more weapons and my opinion of his skills may change.

The Eagles losing Westbrook hurts more than most people would like to think. They are down on the depth charts to Dorsey Levens, a has-been RB if I have ever seen one (there is one in Dallas too). Although Westbrook may not typically be a game changer, his skill level at least kept defenses somewhat honest.

The Eagles O-Line will have their hands full with the Ravens strong defensive front. The secondary of the Ravens with Baxter,Reed, McAlister, and Sanders in the fold could be treacherous. Me-O wont be seeing McAlister on an island often like Chad Johnson had against Champ Bailey this week. Reed and Demps play pretty good coverage and give great support most of the time.

I look for the Ravens to do what they do best which is run the ball, create pressure on McNabb, and who can forget Ray-Raycreating the usual havoc.

The Eagles will try to counter with the Deep ball and use McNabbs mobility to make some plays outside of the pocket.

I believe that the Ravens can win this game and will, even if it is in Philly. Turnovers will be the tell-tale. The Ravens dont make many. Also the Ravens have to be a little disgusted with Me-O after the offseason fiasco. We Shall see.

Ravens Win 20 - 14. McAlister earns his contract this week alone.
