-We shouldn't worry who is the better runner Zeke/Pollard. Both will be given their opportunities to succeed. We heard Romo say MM wants to keep Zeke fresh, which means more of a workload for Pollard. It's a good thing to have a two headed monster, especially with different skill sets. Zeke did what he did best yesterday and hasn't had the chance in a real long time, closer. Made a couple big plays on the final drive. Teams will look to stop the run and force Dak to beat them, which will only make it easier.

-Give Dan Quinn some credit. 3 DL starters are down, but his defense only gives up 17 points against a quality offense. Yes, Chargers beat themselves often, but still is a great accomplishment.

-Heard Diggs traveled all game against Allen all game long. Outside that crazy 40 yard play on the sidelines, pretty much kept him in check. 2nd week in a row he has won his matchup against a top receiver. Notice Evans went off this week.

-Team finally winning a close game will really boost their confidence. The big difference yesterday was they weren't playing from behind and didn't make the same mistake twice. Didn't allow the Chargers offense to see the field again with over 4 minutes left on the clock.

-What is maddening to me is, they are killing the Chargers on the ground, yet when they get to the redzone they start passing. Moore has to stay with the hot hand and stop getting so pass happy.

-The play before half was so close to being a score, if not for Derwin James, Zeke scores the TD.

-Many thought Slater was a Guard only in the draft, he shutout Chase Young again in the opener and Parsons, had zero success against him yesterday. Love the Parsons pick more and more, but Slater is also a Stud.

Slater certainly looks like a franchise LT. Never a bad thing to get a player like that when you can. Parsons is exactly what I thought he was. The best defensive player in the draft. There are so many ways for them to use this kid. Get creative and find a way to get the most out of him. Talent like that doesn’t come around often.

Parson could very have the Charles Halley effect on this D. Maybe not getting the 12-15 sacks but an absolute stud pressuring opposing QBs all game. In other words, he singles handly lifts the entire D IMO.......

Both touchdowns were on the ground. In situations Moore passed, it was usually after a failed run. I don’t think running more was necessary. But that’s just my opinion. On that 40 yard play to Allen, I’m pretty sure that was a zone scheme and Diggs wasn’t man up on Allen.

Slater is a stud but Armstrong/Parsons got around him a few times. The linemen that I was most impressed with was Steele. Everyone was giving Martin credit for the run plays but Steele moved both James and Bosa out when the Cowboys ran the football.

Steele had a very good game. It’s funny how a lot of posters were crying about not moving Zach out there and that Steele would get destroyed! Didn’t happen!

Well several of the penalties were offensive holding, players seldom get that penalty unless they have trouble blocking the defensive player, so the Cowboys defense had at least something to do with the "Chargers beat themselves".

Said the same thing to my wife yesterday, the announcers said the Chargers' defense was getting tired, why not keep pounding the rock?

Unless Smith and Collins play every game and are still very good at the end of the season, I would still target an OT in the 2022 draft, if not first round then 2nd.

In previous years, Pollard was not given much opportunity. . At this juncture, Pollard is the better back.

Lot of posters and local media don’t seem to understand how important it was to leave Martin at guard. He was able to help out Steele and the young center. As long as we have Martin and Tyron healthy the offensive line will be fine. Those guys are Hall of Famers.

All valid observations. Thanks for posting.

I think we tend to forget how much better Zeke gets later in games as he gets in a groove and starts to wear the defense down. With last years game scripts that was hardly ever possible.

Playing ahead is huge for this team as they are able to bleed the clock and close out the game.

Steele is a far better run blocker then he is against the pass.

It doesn't matter this yr who is better, both are seeing their share of carries.

Sure it matters. The best guy should be on the field more often. In previous years, its been Zeke due to his draft position and contract. Pollard has been wasting on the bench.

Weren't both of the tds rushing tds?
