Without Zeke, we do not have a power run for a guaranteed 6 inch run.

When teams blitz us, we don't get a pass completion but when we blitz them, they easily convert passes.

Dez and other receivers needs stilts to catch some of those balls thrown to them, Dak isn't very consistently accurate accurate on the long passes and throws the ball a bit wobbly. Its hard for Dez to get in the groove with such inconsistent passes and could contribute to his inconsistency.

Cowboys thus don't have a long ball threat and tend to depend on dinky throws that gain a yard or two. The competition knows this thus can easily stop us.

Dak tends to complete passes before the 10 yard maker and depend on the receiver to gain the extra yards which isn't working too consistent.

Our secondary is young and seem to be better after the change but has a lot of room for improvement.

Dak does well on the run and is a big part of what makes him a good QB. He will probably have to keep running and this could shorten his career.

We have a great trick play change up routine that gains yards better than I think all other teams. Can we keep doing this or will it be playing our same cards too much to the point it will lose its effectiveness ? When the team goes into trick play mode, I feel as if I'm watching Oklahoma play on their best day.

Thats it.

We were in third and long seemingly from the second quarter on. you don't win many games doing that in this league and that certainly isn't a favorable down and distance for Dak and our receiving corps.

The offense is built around Zeke and rightly so. The LBs have to honor the run fake because if they don't, Zeke's 7 yard runs can go for 30. The passing game is better because Zeke is a very good pass blocker from the RB spot and can take a dumpoff pass all the way. The DL has to account for Zeke on those dumpoffs and that changes pass rush schemes.

And the good news is, Zeke is back.

The great news is Zeke is back.

..Since Zeke being gone, Dak has been under lots of pressure mainly teams blitzing more and Oline breaking down on steady basis and not holding up. But when Oline does well, so does Dak. Notice that? Im surprised some posters just go on confirmation bias that its Daks fault....for this and that. Dak is only in 2nd term, he will be awesome eventually.

The ball has hit the WRs in the hands and then was dropped way more often than Dak has made a bad throw.

I see no lies in this post.

Think zekes pass blocking is the criminally underrated factor. Especially considering the stare of the line with Ty-God banged up

There have been far more bad passes than dropped passes. Factor in throws that are there and are not even attempted and it's not even worth comparing.

The WRs are a problem. The QB is a bigger problem.

Either the playcalling or the QB was way too conservative.

That is not even close to the truth!!! If you wanted to actually count I am sure the ints and dropped Ints are greater than WR drops!

This. I see other teams like New England for example, catch everything thrown at them. Why don't we have receivers like that? If it touches your hands, CATCH IT. If these receivers were to have caught let's say, 40% of what was thrown to them in the last 6 games, we could've possibly gone 5-1 during Zeke's absence.

I have heard some places that say Dez has 8 but maybe they are not available without subscription but even so, Daks ints and near ints would be greater than the combined team total
Yep... and as I mentioned before last year the Cowboys only had 8 drops, fewest in the NFL. Dak slobberers have dreamed up the drop boogeyman to explain away the struggles, but like most of their inane ramblings there just isn’t any truth.

Again ........ bull

Dez hd two yesterday hit him right in the hands and he did not catch them ........ the week before he had 4 in one game ....... I do not know how they decide whats a drop and whats not .

Dez had 2 balls hit him right in the hands yesterday ........ Bease had 1 ....... Butler had 1 ........ even Witt had one.

Like Mike Irvin used to say ....... if it touches my hands I should catch it.
