1. The team played about like I hoped it would.
2. Kellen showed that he could be patient and stick to a game plan rather than forcing balance.
3. The defense is much improved. It gave us a legitimate chance to win. If we stay healthy we will be very solid and hard to beat by year end.
4. The team must have zero belief in the corners behind Brown. TB12 targeted him (or the guy that was on Brown) most of the night.
5. Run defense is vastly improved.
6. Offensive line played very well as a unit. Dak had a reasonable amount of time all night. McGovern played well. Connor Williams didn’t suck, but he is the weakest link on the OL. He should be the 6th OL behind McGovern.
7. CeeDee is a stud but he has to eliminate the drops.
8. I am a little bit unsure of the LB rotation. Hard to draw firm conclusions on a small sample size, but I suspect pairings and playing time will get adjusted.
9. DL played pretty well overall.
10. Dan Quinn’s FA acquisitions seem to be much more productive than prior coaches’ acquisitions wwre.
11. Dak looks worth what we paid him.
12. Tank does not appear be justifying his salary.
13. Our receivers may be the best top to bottom in the NFL.
14. The single biggest factor in losing the game was missed chip shot field goals.
15. I am excited to see how good this team can be and how far it can go with reasonably good health. Can’t wait to see what Gallimore adds to the mix when he returns.
16. I don’t recall seeing Wright play tonight. The rookie corners so far have been a non factor.
17. Quinn seems to be getting more out of similar personnel.
18. I think MM has turned the corner from last year.
I reserve the right to change my mind as more evidence becomes available.
