My off season challenge

I get sucked in this time of year to the various players we may get in free agency or in the draft or whoever we might sign as a coach. Then we end up not getting that guy. I then go into a big funk disjointed that my pet cat isn't here. It has already started with the lack of hiring an OC from the outside. Why do I do this to myself. It would be so much healthier to just stop reading the forum until September. Anyone else find you do the same thing?

Last year I was incredulous that Linehan wasn't dumped and Moore was hired as QB coach.

This year we dumped Linehan and added Kitna. I call that a win, for a change. I'm more encouraged about Moore as OC all the time. It's not a serious hire, but he may be ok.

So far its been a solid B. In a "low standard Cowboy fan" expectation way.

Linehan got fired, that is #1. Garrett isnt calling plays, that is #2. The choice of Moore is very unsatisfying, but early indications are they are going to let him run the offense with as little help from Garrett as possible. I will believe it when I see it.

Fred Beard is a big return for us next year. I'm excited for Gallup next year and I have to think that Conner looks much better next year as well.
