RD1
Tarell Basham DE Ohio
With Jones talking about the team putting more emphasis on passrush i see this as the best pick for Dallas in the draft range they will be in. Basham can play both sides, a 1st and 2nd down guy on the right side. With him moving to the left side on 3rd down when Dallas moves Irving inside.

RD2
Teez Tabor CB Florida
The guy has a nasty attitude, but his play on the field is what this team needs. An atitutde with playmaking ability. Marcus Peters was this guy and now IMO he's the best CB in the nfl.

RD3
Adam Shaheen TE Ashlan
Big TE who can run the seams. Needs work on his blocking but has the strength to do it. His greatest asset will be in the redzone early. Then take over for Dallas' HOFer

RD4
Xavier Woods S La Tech
Woods is the type of S dallas looks for. A guy who can play single high and tackles. He's not the most athletic guy but he makes plays all over the field. IMO i think he thinks too much and that leads to him being out of position. This team knows how to develop S's tho. Could take over Heath's package plays he comes into the game. As Heath is going to be the starter.

RD6
Avery Moss DE Youngstown State
His history and small school will drop him. But the kid is a player.

RD7
TJ Lang RB UNC
Small RB who can turn in another gear. Great receiver out of the backfield. Can hit the edge too.

RD7
Ben Boulware LB Clemson
Guy is just a complete monster in hitting and tackling. Multiple players have said this guy was the hardest hitter theyve ever went up against. Could be the next ST ace for Dallas.

I'd be very dissapointed with the 1st 2 rounds. I like Basham but I don't see him as a top 28 prospect in this draft. Would be a reach for need in my book. And Tabor is just an idiot. I don't subscribe to the "RKG" thing, but Tabor just crosses the line. He's a me 1st guy who is likely to be suspended.

I agree with you especially about. He is a knucklehead with million dollar talent and a 10 cent brain. I would take him off our board entirely.

He is the one player in this draft that we are looking at that will truly anger me if we pick him. Every warning flag you could ask for already being displayed.

Why a TE in the third? I'd rather give Rico a year on the 53 and go from there. Too many positives on him at this point, we need to see if he pans out

Well because they are interested in him. And in Rd3 if hes there he would be close if not the BPA if u ask me.

Im basing these mocks now on who they have brought in

More likely to see Tabor in the 1st and Basham later but the talent in this Draft scenario is a high grade and would help the roster.

I like it, but I agree there will be a better Edge rusher available at 28.

I

I hear you. Don't want him at all and I think Wilson will be a much better pro.

Is he any more concerning that Zeke and Bosa were at this time last year? He's not the brightest, but this isn't a Randy Gregory situation.

To most GMs they are warning flags, to our GM, they are come pick me flags apparently

I think he is a lot more concerning. Plus, neither Elliott or Bosa flunked workouts to the point they could . So character and athletic concerns to boot? Not good. Every bell, whistle and gong should be going off with this player.

He missed a game for weed, just like Bosa. He got in a fight with a teammate. He said some stupid stuff, just like Zeke. Zeke and Bosa were popping E, getting drunk, and partying. I wouldn't be surprised if Teez was too, but the rumors aren't out there like they were with the other two. He's got some character concerns, but so do a lot of guys who go on to have very good NFL careers. He's not a guy you take off of your draft board. If he was playing for Meyer, a lot of the issues would have been swept under the rug. Mac is trying to establish a culture and holding the kids more accountable than Urban did at UF.

There are certainly some athletic concerns, but the tape is great. He plays faster than his 40 time, but he's certainly not an elite athlete, in terms of explosiveness. If you don't like him as a player, that's totally fine. I just don't buy that his red flags are particularly concerning. Especially when we're talking about the end of the 2nd round. Bosa and Zeke showed last year that teams were more than happy to make these gamble is they like the talent. As Dallas is using one if their 30 interviews on the kid (and value that part of the process), I think it's safe to assume they like his talent.

Zeke and Bosa were consensus tops at their position. Tabor is not. And we won't even mention he ran a 4.75 at his pro day. A 4.75!!! You might as well get ready to call him French Toast of the secondary. He is going to get so roasted they won't be able to identify him in a rotisserie chicken line-up.

"The magic number for corners is 4.60. Anything above that, and the alarm goes off," Jeremiah said. "That could have a major impact. People can say the 40 is overrated, but the one position where it matters most is corner. Teams will take his best time, which was at the combine -- his magnet on everybody's board will say 4.62 -- but this was a big opportunity to help himself, and he didn't."

A slow 40-yard dash time is the last thing any cornerback prospect needs, but it could be especially damaging for Tabor in this particular draft because the talent pool at the position is considered to be very strong. Tabor has fallen out of NFL Network draft expert Mike Mayock's top-five rankings at the position, which currently include Ohio State's Marshon Lattimore, Alabama's Marlon Humphrey, Washington's Kevin King, Ohio State's Gareon Conley and UCLA's Fabian Moreau.
